  • A replay of Episode 06 of my FB Live video tour series. This time I avoid the wet Paris winter with a tour of a few Covered Passages - the 19th century shopping arcades. One of my favorite parts in the whole city!

Good morning from Vancouver, BC, Canada. Thank you for filming this life series! I started watching from episode one every day with my morning coffee and I will continue this routine for now. Yes, I do have a plan to come for a visit in Paris, in fact, a longer stay if at all possible. I have subscribed the Instagram and FB. Merci Beaucoup!!

Great tour! Thanks for doing these. Good call on the covered passages on a rainy day. And those chocolate shops! Valentin is on my list now, and the Thai place, too!

Most interesting, but please note that that there is a bit more to say about George Sand then simply “Chopin’s mistress”.

Tom Babbitt Hi Tom, thanks for the comment. You’re absolutely right; in fact there’s a lot more to say about everything I show in these videos. And on my actual walking tours I go into things more in depth. These videos are more to give a sample of what’s around and to give an introduction into stories & details that many haven’t heard of before. No disrespect meant to Ms. Sand that’s for sure, she was quite a character :-) I may do more specialized videos in the future that delve deeper into various topics, so keep an eye out for that. Thanks a lot for watching!

I love all the three passages-Panorama, jeoffoi, and Verdeou. Pardon my spelling... Are they all in the 2 arr. or 9 arr? It looks like you just keep crossing the street and walking through passages . So they are all close by ? I just subscribed. Looking forward to another place in Paris. Thank you for your good job!♥️

Thanks for watching! Many of the passages of Paris are in the 2nd and 9th arrondissements which is where this video takes place. Thanks for watching!

Laura Long This one was for Australia so way too early for the States. But usually my episodes are Saturday at 8am west coast time.
