Hello! YES it was indeed you!! Thanks so much! I ended up buying some of the rimowa dupe for family members as well! Yes im really enjoying the Teddy Blake bag! I wear it on repeat!
I have a rule of NO DUPLICATES. Many handbags look different but many are very similar so I maintain this rule to keep my collection number low. If I wanted a bag that looks like what I’ve already got in the closet then I have to sell that one to get in the new one. The new one has to be special for me to do this though since buying and selling costs more money than what I’ve already spent on the first bag.
Hello! Thats a good rule! I tell myself no duplicates but then i always end up with duplicates hahah. I think its just my obsessive personality haha. But totally agree i lose lots of money and time every time i try to sell! I would like to avoiding selling and thus want to keep the collection under control
Hi there I love what you did with the 'Stuff bag' with the magnetic clasps for closure where did you get them from?... I have exactly 50 bags in my collection and I am really trying to keep it at that!... so it is one out one in for me at the moment... I recently sold a Spring Street Louis Vuitton in yellow Vernis Leather as I decided it was a little small for me... I replaced it with a Louis Vuitton Abbess Messenger bag.... And I am selling my YSL giraffe pattern 50 cm long overnight bag on eBay as I found I was using the wheelie bags instead for travel and I have replaced it with a Gucci GG leather tassel bag with plaited shoulder handles...
Hello Julie! I also bought them from Temu it was about $3 for a pack of 5 magnetic snaps. They are called "magnetic clasp iron clip bag mouth edge clip handbag". I also did the same thing for the burlap totes i bought my family members at Christmas in 2023 since those bags also have no closure. It was a really handy DIY solution for that problem
I also bought the “mini kelly” dupe and I can tell you the quality of the dupe is nowhere near the quality of the actual kelly. I would advise you to go to a cosignment store to play with the actual kelly bag, to feel how you like the hardware. Real hermes hardware is divine.
Hello! Thats a great suggestion about going to a consignement shop! Ive actually never been into a consignment shop in australia before in person, i have been in one in taiwan but i should actually go to one! Thank you for the suggestion!
hmmm... i know very well what i want what my style is and i never overbuy... i sold maybe 4 bags in my whole life.. even my vintage exotic baggies i still have and wear... people overbuy bc they dont know there style or are stupid and being influenced by soc. media.
I find when I buy and sell some of it is for the fun of it of buying a bag and fixing it up restoring etc and reselling it... I don't look at social media so it's definitely not that... And I believe you that all your bags look gorgeous on you and you know your style ... however sometimes I am a little tempted by something that is so cute like the spring Street Louis Vuitton bag I just sold ,it really was just too small for me...
