Is it me, or is that preset the keyboardist is using during the slowdown off key? It not only doesn’t sound like the original recording, but it sounds discordant when Phum sings “you’ll be fine.”
It’s not your ear man. As a drummer I could tell straight away he was going fast then slow. Though I THINK and I hope it was done on purpose to emphasis the message of the song. It’s fast meaning that’s when anxiety strikes and then it slows down coming into the part where he says “you’ll be fine.” That’s my guess or they weren’t using a click track lol
