Myers’s Park is a public school in an affluent area in Charlotte, NC. The wealthy alumni spends tons of money to bring in kids from outside the country robbing local kids of the opportunity to participate in sports. This type of team stacking is usually the work of private/charter IMG etc. not public schools. Sad part is other schools can’t bring in a kid from out of state to play unless they sit out a year. This all has to do with money and it is soiling high school sports. Very few public schools can challenge a team with a 6-8 guard and top high school player from another country. There should be an asterisk by any Championships this team wins. Why? Because it’s an unfair playground of the rich.
I totally agree with you are saying!! This school loves to recruit and provide rental assistance to kids who live out of state just ask the family from California and there Football program!!
Tell that to West Charlotte and Independence about stealing players. Lol they did not even live near those schools but had a P.O.Box. Lol stop the hate time for new blood in CMS.
Oh by the way Julius Chambers has a built in endowment being located in University put the school where I grew up and we can call it disadvantaged I grew up right beside Southside. I rode a bus and hour to go to Myers Parks and back home. If you want to see how much money Myers Park then from 1993-96 it was not a lot. 😂😂😂
@careavis I remember very well what Independence and West Charlotte did in the 90s and 2000s well. However, when you did what Myers Park did and then got caught and it was all over the media here in the Charlotte area and acted like you did nothing wrong but knew it was the whole time!! Myers Park wants to run its school like some sort of private school with an athletic program so be it, bottom line is they will recruit and find back door ways of getting kids in to the school that are good student athletes to win in Basketball and then lose in football in the 1st or 2nd round like they always do

@careavis Should of mentioned this in the above comment but they will do it while spending all their so called money and resources because they can!!
for this to be NC basketball i’m disappointed
2 nationally ranked teams and MP is one of the best I. The country
MP is an imported team, should just have a schedule against IMG and all those other 4/5 ⭐️ programs
