Common expression with dar, hacer, estar, echar etc. are very helpful in conversational Spanish

Great video with a lot of choices for this very needed feeling/expression. My translator only gives me mucho ganas de.... Here's my example sentence: Tengo muchas ganas de que me entiendan en español.

I scheduled a language exchange with someone from Venezuela and I was wondering how to tell her that I’m looking forward to the exchange. That’s how I found this video! 😅Thanks

I always use Espero con ansias.
Not sure if I ever asked but I always see 2 flags but do you favor Mexican Spanish ??

You know, it's kind of weird, I am a native Spanish speaker, and I agree with the phrases that you taught, but none have the same connotation as "looking forward to it" yes, they have similar meaning, but I find the English phrase can be used in more polite settings without sounding too sentimental or needy, when you say "No veo la hora de..." For example, it sounds very forward if you tell that to someone, in fact, I came to this video looking for a phrase to say in Spanish, because I am studying abroad, and I got used to saying "looking forward to" and I wanted to say the same in a casual but professional setting and Spanish, and realized that none of the phrases I thought of had the same sentiment or connotation as in English 😅 I don't know if it just me

How about when you are trying to say that you look forward to meeting with someone in a professional setting?

What do you think about using "Espero ansiosamente verte el próximo martes!" or am I way off?

I think it would be espero con la ansiedad por verte la próxima semana.
But I feel this context of anxiety is not good
