Could you explain what the song dolijute means ?

It's a very old folk song about sisters who are going to open the gate and to let the horse out. That sister is asking horse where did he lost her brother. It can mean that the brother died in a war. I am not so sure about the word 'dolijutė' or 'dolijuta', some say that it has no meaning, some say that it is the word related to the word 'dalia' which means fate.
