From a Protestant for what it’s worth I want to say that this man of God is right. Yes, yes yes Christians need to speak up about sinfulness and its evil deeds.
This Bishop is a staunch defender of the Gospel, assembled by the holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, as well as of the overall Deposit of Faith of the Mystical Body of Christ: the one visible Church established by God to give us the Sacraments that give and sustain the life of grace and infallibly guard the purity of the Christian Faith from the corruption of men.
What is "All of this corruption" what specific teaching has the Synod changed? Pope Francis has stated the churches teaching on sexuality has not changed. The Pope has said there are no plans to have women priests or deacons. Judging from the testimonies here of people who attend and love the TLM there is no shortage of priests making it available, God bless them. What is your problem? Oh yes the wrong people are in charge, according to you. So we can gather from that, first The Holy Spirit is not protecting the Church despite being told for two millenia the Gates of Hell will not prevail against it. We are, in addition, expected to believe the election of Pope Francis was corrupt, all those Cardinals we must assime didn't know what they were doing. My word !!!! Stressing working for the church is good (I am an ex missionary so I can say this) but it ignores those of us who care for our loved ones and see little spiritual support for out lives and how we can become saints doing ordinary things (aka the LIttle way of ST Thresea).

I was away from the church for 40 years after 12 years of Catholic education. When I came back in 2017 I felt like a foreigner. I didn’t recognize the Mass or much else. We finally got a “real” priest who’s sermons were actually taught! He had a kneeler brought forward during communion and gave communion on the tongue using a paten also. After so many years he made me feel good going to confession. However old members got him transferred. They are happy with his replacement. The church went from meat and potatoes to milk toast again!
I came really close to walking and a novus ordo priest I kept going to for confession to kept praying and telling me don’t leave don’t let go pray through…. I will pray for you… I’m grateful he prayed and I prayed AND I ENDED UP TLM couldn’t be more grateful for the prayers and encouragement to hold on!!!!! PRAISE GOD
