I'm on day three of the 5-1-1.; Migraine wanted to complicate it and not get started because I didn't know everything about it. Making it complicated I just got started. I am 52 past menopause. This is easy to start. I was quite amazed what happens in the body at different stages of fasting.

Thank you for sharing. I listen to many of your podcasts and I used to think just listening to you was enough advice but lately I have also appreciated the interviews as well. I am in my car all day for what I do for work and that gives me plenty of opportunity to listen to your podcasts past and present. I am excited to dive in more with Dr Mindy Pelz. Is it ok to do ADF for a lifetime?
No, definitely not. As a woman, maybe you could get away with it for the first two weeks of your cycle without increasing the stress on your body to the point you lose your period, but don't do longs fasts the 2 weeks before your period in the luteal phase.
Really good information! My prayer is to adopt a fasting lifestyle.

Fasting is not restrictive. It's liberating, and the best way to get most of our inner energy that our body can use!
