the housing situation is honestly more of a junior/ senior problem freshmen and sophomores are guaranteed housing for the first 2 years ! i think as long as you stay on top of your housing you should be okay, hope this helps with your decision!! good luck !

I’m going to UCSC this fall and is also affiliated with Kresge. Besides the dorm room, what else is available (in terms of like a kitchen, bathroom, etc)? Oh and is it mandatory to buy a meal plan?

Jennifer Nguyen its not mandatory to have a meal plan as a kresge affiliate ! There is a kitchen , living room and bathroom are included !
