Worth it! I have been to Betws-y-Coed twice (once for a whole holiday week), what a lovely little gem of a village.. Plenty of pictures to be taken! :) I'm not sure I will ever visit it again, but if I do I will certainly go for that spot: hopefully I'll get some of that pretty light too! ;)
I salute you for you dedication and determination to complete this personal mission. Frankly, I think it was well worth the effort, and that is one spectacular photo you got there. But even if I could not appreciate the photo (which I certainly can), I would still say it was worthwhile because it was YOUR goal to fulfill, and you nailed it.
