It’s been a lifelong journey to encapsulate our favourite Texan’s ‘Twang’ into a box! Alongside our countless hours of tweaking, we have received an outpouring of requests for this very creation! We listened to you, ourselves, (& Stevie on repeat for 20 years) & can now proudly present the - Pedal Pawn ® Texan Twang ™.
This custom boost / overdrive circuit is specifically tuned for an abundance of glassy clean-up, for when you roll back the guitars volume knob on each setting. Rolling up the guitars volume knob produces the Texan Twang ™ we have searched for our whole lives!
Wow! Such a killer player. Thanks for ripping the tones 🎛🤠🎸
I’ve bought 247 pedals because of Mike Hermans. Damn you Mike, you got me again.
Can’t figure out why they didn’t put the light inside the star 🤔
😅
I know right ?
Such a killer rendition of Mary had a little lamb
Mary had a little red diesel :-O
@@stanislavmigra she rolled smoke black as coal
That SRV rendition the first minute .. so cool!
That light fuzz texture in the LOW mode is pretty sweet.
Everything about this is amazing, and the backing track absolutely fucking slaps
Mike you truly play fabulously and make me want to buy anything that you demo. It seems that you have selective tasty reasons to demonstrate the pedals chosen. Thanks, an appreciative viewer from Toronto. 🎸🐕
Unbelievable production
Love these modern builds of Diaz circuits.
Yes! Thanks...fantastic!
Best demo of this pedal I have heard.
Warning. Touch not included. Excellent player.
So awesome,.love it
I don't understand the pedal so much. hi is open, low hi cut and mid presence, low sounds like fuzz low pass filter. the volume seems to be before the gain stage as it increases gain like a clean boost into a driven amp/pedal, which would sound amazing to try. what ever the hell it's doing, it sounds ballistically awesome. don't know if that's a word. what a tone monster. i love it. I'll grab one for sure
I had the same question. Looking at the website link, they say this “ 3-way rotary switch - Hi (Glass / Bite), Mid (Fat / Tube), Lo (Growl / Wood) ”
Awesome demo - I Love this pedal but I had to mask off the light it’s blinding … luckily I have some light management tape from my old photo days
Love your demos, always inspiring!
My old TS-808 does this too...
I want to know how long it takes to get here we ordered itA couple weeks ago my wife says it’s in Chicago,I I think I’m going mad LOL I mean I’m in Wisconsin🎸🖤🎶.
🤘🏻
Nice playing.. What amp were you using?
I wish all knobs were like MXR or Way Huge - Black with a white line and maybe even a pointer :-)
I'm pretty sure they are standard pots buy some chicken head knobs and go crazy my friend.
Mike, what Octave pedal are you constantly using sir?
Have you had a chance to try the Telegraph by CopperSound yet?
I’m not using an octave pedal. Someone else mentioned this... where do you hear it?
@@popintothechemist dunno if I heard it in this one but I seem to do in a good bit of reviews. I dig the sound..why I was wondering.
@@popintothechemist 1:31 and around here - the bends sound like an octave
@@benwilliams8306 I think he’s just doubling his lead lines
Funny...it doesn't sound like that when I use it....
Really?
Lol right, they never do. That’s why I quit buying overdrive pedals in general. At the end of the day, they all sound 90% the same because it’s still you. You (and the gear you already have) make up so much of your sound.
I had one and sold it quick mine sounded like shit
big question ..what is the cabinet you used?
What us the best way to use this pedal?
So is this an overdrive pedal? Love my sd1 but hated the ts9. Where would this fall compared to the two?
Hi Carson, Thanks a lot for the comment & question. This pedal really enhances whatever you feed it with the amp, it’s very different to a TS circuit. It can go from zero to hero with the volume knob and get really Tube-y & glassy too 🎛🎸
Hey dude, do you have any singles or albums out by any chance? Would love to download
Just found your albums and have bought both, you rule dude! Also from Boston! I'm English but I lived in providence, RI for 15 years so I spent a lot of time in Boston. Anyways, thanks from r the dope tunes
Great guitar playing there! But can't you find the same range of tones by switching between the 5 selector positions, volume, tone knobs, fingers or pick?
i don't think so. there's lots going on in this pedal. i would say it more than triples the abvailable options that you can get with your method, which is mine usually too.
I’d buy it if it wasn’t $300
Sounds like a treble boost. I can't see anything special about this.
I don’t like it 😅
Tried this out at the local shop the other day. Was a pain in the ass to dial in. My 808 sounds way better than this, and on just about any setting too
