I like how this is completely different then some American engine builders, they use micrometers and other measuring equipment that costs 10 times more, then the engine they are working on and still they recommend to rebuild the engine at fixed intervals, even though there is nothing wrong.

@@BlackSmokeLtd How many races are you getting from an engine? Have you found any common weak point between the failures or are different things breaking every time? Do you take car out to race right after the rebuild or do you break the engine in any?
We are pretty sure it's small mistakes that makes it fail. Now when we start to rise the rpm we might find som weak spot.
At 10:59 I saw a rod journal that has had a lot of heat, then I backed up and noticed others with the same coloring. Does Mercedes do a strange heat treatment to the Crankshafts or has this crankshaft been badly heat stressed????
it ground the bearings until there were fragments left, it got verrrry hot and heat stressed.
I don't think they expect this rebuild to last long lol

All kidding aside, they need to get on eBay and put together a dry sump oiling system from used NASCAR parts. The engine will last much longer for not a lot of money.

I am actually laughing half the time here. It pains me that you cannot translate Teemu to English really. This engine is going to the moon. And I mean literally when it explodes.
