It’s a shame too, because they weren’t always this lazy. They put out some pretty great stuff between 2019 and early-to-mid 2022. After that, it’s been pretty downhill. I’d say they were pretty good during their first three years, very much on the level of CFO$, at the very least. But they’ve clearly become lazy and complacent in their music. I think it’s high time Jim Johnston came back. It’s been about 6 years now.

to this day i still don't understand why cfo$ were hated as much as they were. they gave out bangers themes for aj styles, bobby roode, nakamura, tye dillinger, johnny gargano, tommaso ciampa, aleister black, ricochet, undisputed era and more. just realized most of these are nxt but yeah you get the point. i feel like people only hated them because they replaced jim johnston
My only problem with them was that their songs looped one or two verses, but at least they made decent music.

CFO$ made Worlds Apart (Sami Zayn's entrance music), a great theme that's unique and not just super generic, then def rebel makes This Is It (Sami's other entrance music) and it's just generic rock music

The problem with Def Rebel is just that they don't get what makes a good WRESTLING theme. A lot of their themes either don't tell you anything about the character it's attached to, are too generic, or just don't have any purpose.

I'm a little confused by the comments. Def Rebel is not as good as Jim Johnston but they have made quite a few bangers like "Head of the Table" "Deliverance" "Imperium" "Welcome to LA" and "Visionary"
Suuuuure... 5 decent themes in a sea of shitty ones. Even a broken clock can give the accurate time two times per day
Add "Main Event Ish" on there too, even if it's just a solo remix of "Done With That." As well as "Demon In Your Dreams", "Eyes on the Prize" and "Love is Blind." They got a few good themes but yea they're a bit lacking. Compared to CFO$. Personally I enjoy " All Mighty" just wish it was longer tho.
