Dream Of The Blue Turtles is an excellent album, it's been a long time since I listened ! I like your Queen 1&2 !! They were my son Sean's 1st favorite band, we did a ton of listening 4 years ago. Good tag and Glen is a good man !
Catherine..I am just subbing your channel..This awesome..thanks for doing this..always appreciated your comments on videos and live chats…that MOFI Sting album has to sound amazing..I am drooling looking at that..great job on this..👍❤glen
Great CD tag Catherine! Get Woodface for sure. Such a great album. Sting Dream of The Blue Turtles. Great album as well. Love that Erasure CD. All those hits! Yes The Police is one of my faves too and INXS...great album. Great video!
Nice collection of cd's I remember going out in the later 80"s we would dance and they played INXS a lot great feel for those years, have a great week, Peace!
Fun selections, Catherine. If you were going to have 3 copies of an album, Dream of the Blue Turtles is a good one to have! I stopped buying cds when the car I bought did not have a cd player in it. It's all vinyl for me from here on out!
@MarkMorris-1962 Hi Mark. Thank you for watching. I wish cars still have CD players. The portable CD player I showed, I play in my car. I bought a small speaker and a cable and it worked.
Scarecrow is a fantastic album - I first had it on cassette and relatively recently got it on CD. Love hearing your stories/memories of these selections. Great video!
@@CDRabbitHole Thank you. Small Town by John Mellencamp was played at my high school graduation ceremony. The Scarecrow album is sentimental for me. Have a good week.
Hi Catherine - Dream Of The Blue Turtles was one of the first cds I purchased back in 1985 & I still have it. Such an innovative album. My favorite Sting song is The Shape Of My Heart which plays in the ending credits of The Professional aka Leon. I missed seeing INXS & they were so good in the 80's. Take Care.
@@davidellis5141 I was happy when Dream of the Blue Turtles was released after The Police broke up. It's one of my favorite albums from the 80s. I like Shape Of My Heart also. Dominic Miller guitar melody really stands out on this 5th track from Ten Sumuners Tales. It's definitely a fan favorite. Thank you for commenting. 😊
Hi, Catherine! I’m glad you participated. It was a good way to see your music collection from a different perspective. You must have all the INXS albums, eh? Cool!
@@musicisajourney Hi Peter. 👋 I don't have all the INXS albums. I stopped with the X album I showed from 1990. I have the 80s albums. I feel Michael's head injury and the depression after the incident, the music became much darker. Although there were a few good singles, I didn't buy the later albums. In the future I plan to show the 90s albums, and all of these are CDs. My next videos will be gifted records from Laurie's collection. Thank you for watching and commenting.
@@catherine6653 I'm not really familiar with the music of INXS other than the hit songs. But I'm intrigued with them. So I was curious since they're your favourite.
@musicisajourney I recommend starting with Listen Like Thieves (1985). This is the album that had international success. Kick from 1987 is their best seller. This is also their first Rock record. The one I showed in the video, X is another I think you might like.
Hey Catherine! Love watching all of these as so much of what we see is all about LPs. I've never come across the Frey live album, I will be on the lookout. Cheers!

@@sofiane6042 You are welcome. I recommend listening to Don Henley solo albums also. There are really great songs from both Eagles members. Thank you for your comment. 😊
@TheSpiritofVinyl Thank you. I buy more records nowadays, but I have all my original Cds from the 80s and 90s. I think Cds are great for box sets and compilations.
@JBLClassic Thank you for commenting. The Police recorded in a studio in Monserat because of quality. I believe the Mobile Fidelity albums are produced in California. There are no liner notes on the promo. The information is probably on Discogs.
Uhhhh....Okay just did some calculations.....I don't like the number I came out with its a little scary just how much my personal collection is now....Love your collection, interesting CD at the end there I found it nice easy listening, good background music.
I came to your channel by the INXS thumbnail and I wasn’t expecting them to be your favourite band. I have to say though that the album X is pronounced X. It’s not Ten. Not at all. Maybe in Roman numerals it might be. 😃.
Scarecrow Rock Catherine! I love that album! ❤
