- JERUSALEM, Israel - On a historic day at the White House, President Donald Trump announced Tuesday that the United States would take over the Gaza Strip. The impact of the presidential announcement is already changing the face of the Middle East.
Trump greeted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House during a stunning day of changes for Israel and the region. At a joint conference with the prime minister, Trump dropped the bombshell:
"The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip and we will do a job with it, too. We'll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site. Level the site and get rid of the destroyed buildings, level it out - create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area. Do a real job. Do something different. Just can't go back. If you go back, it's going to end up the same way it has for 100 years," he declared.

I agree with the Palestines expectations of wanting money to rebuild their devastated country…but it will never happen. The US and many other countries have supplied money, food etc etc in the past…MANY TIMES but Hamas Terrorist took the money and purchased weapons and held the food and humanitarian supplies from the people of Gaza. So no more funding will ever come their way. One thing for sure, Hamas terrorist have to be stopped. It’s only a matter of time before they attack again.
President Trumps new plan sounds a bit “out-there” but he hasn’t shared “everything” in this plan yet…so we’ll just have to wait for now and trust that he knows and is doing what’s best for all intended.💙🙏🏻

He is being realistic. You cannot rebuild a whole demolished area with nearly 2 million civilians having to live in the middle of reconstruction. The civilians need to be moved to a safe shelter, with adequate water, food, medical treatment, sewage and transportation. They should be relocated to a safe location while the reconstruction happens.
