You inspire me to get better with Venom! I'm 46 and grew up with him as my favorite character hands down. Just unfortunately I'm on console, and playing on controller is horrible.

You can always get a mouse and keyboard to use for the Playstation or Xbox (not sure which console you have). Ive never done it since im on pc, but i know it's possible to use on console.
Pro tip for venom on controller! Try fanning the bursts from your primary fire like a zig zag. What i do is aim a teeeeny bit low like around the hips and to the left then start flicking up and to the right so you create a line of attacks that intersects with their hitbox and goes up towards the headshot. Sorry if that made no sense but its helped me a lot its kind of like stroking with a paintbrush

W Video. I played Venom before watching your videos, and I'm glad to see that what I was doing is basically what you are doing. The guide showed me how to integrate melee. I really appreciate that.
Also would love a Wall Crawl / Run tutorial. I'm a keyboard user as well and I can't get the inputs to be consistent - can't get Venom to run / walk the way I want him to.

I love playing venom , easy to get 20 to 30 kills with 6 to 10k blocked. As long as you have one semi decent healer actually playing.

See I try this and then I get frozen, slept, Hulk frozen, Magneto stunned, and Hawkeye’d out of existence. Dive characters have such a harder time creating value. You either need goated heals or cracked duelists.
I think it really depends on your positioning and timing, relative to what your team is doing

@@dorianjosue6467 if you are stuck in SILVER the first thing you need to realize is that you need to learn to play better and it’s not always your teams fault that you can’t get out of the second lowest tier in the game. if what you say is true then there will be times where the enemy team has the players you complain about and you have a 2/2/2 comp. it’s a team game and there are of course some matches where you can’t really make a difference, but it’s important to realize that there are some matches where your performance will contribute to whether you win or lose.

yes he is my favorite marvel character but I main him mostly because he is a really hard tank to be useful for the team cuz he's more of a selfish type and I think venom is like a 3 star you really gotta know what you're doing in order to win matches!😁

Personally I play Venom because he is my favorite marvel character, and I think they did him justice in actually feeling like Venom with his kit and play styles. Very easy to see that in your videos, as well.

I play Venom on console and have a hard time doing the kind of stuff i see you do in your videos, are there any other tips you can give someone who enjoys playing Venom and wants to get better?
The main thing for controller is practice your aim before you start your matches and communicate every time so your team can push but don’t be too hard on yourself sometimes it can be your teammates that can’t keep up which is why a good venom always comms when they will dive!👍🏻😁
@AresMarveL woud it be better to have Venom have a bit of a slower horizontal turn speed though? I find that I'm either struggling with trying to keep up with people moving or I'm turning too quickly.

Man once I started focusing on dive bombing disrupting the team and then focusing the healer, was finally able to play venom successfully.

Any tips for killing healers fast? I tend to dive in almost kill them and then they miraculously gain a new Health Bar it's been getting really frustrating.

2:50 this type of stuff happens to me every game. If they have 2 healers that are always together its really hard i think sometimes unless your team know what they are doing

Hey bro good vids, question, does adding melee into venoms primary attack reduce dps or is there no down time? I know that If you hit melee whilst primary firing it can cancel so it's seems to be better to hit melee just at the end of the primary 4 hits then you can go into another primary fire.
No it doesn't but you explained it perfectly to do it after the fourth hit you melee it's more effective that way!👍😁
Any tips for aiming for headshots with Venom? For whatever reason it seems like i have to aim lower to hit their heads, and if I aim at their heads it'll sometime miss. Maybe I'm just dumb but his hitboxes for his attacks just feel slightly off.

Do you have any videos on movement after you dive the backline? Cause maybe we get different players but i get slept or frozen as they touch the floor.
Okay so you are doing the right thing but if it happens to much i would purposely go to them make them use it on you and back off so as soon as your cool down is done you push them right away and they dead now if they are pocketing each other then forget about for the moment and wait until you find an opening!👍🏻😁

Ive got most of the venom kit down but wall running particularly on ceilings like u did in this video still seem to bug out for me. Any tips for that?
yeah it's still pretty weird for me as well it's almost like the controls gets reversed! don't have any tips on it other than messing around with it in practice!😅
Seems to be llike old ps2 tank controls where when you change angle you keep going forward with whatever direction you were holding. So if holding down and go upside down you go forward until you press another direction.

Honestly venom is one of my favourite marvel characters only just behind some xmen characters and deadpool and honestly in rivals venom is very fun but sadly im on console and its not easy to hit big with venom by landing those headshots so yesh i plsy venom strange and penny for vanguard mainly some hulk and groot my worst role is duelists my strategist mains are cloak and dagger and jeff

Man I got 16 hours on venom plat 1 I solo Que and go tank and end up being the only tank so dumb because everytime I have another tank I pop off so hard
Like today 12 games played 10 of them were solo tank

@@facelessnamelesssometimes it don’t be making any sense. i be getting the most kills and some assist and less death no mvp. even though every time i get a triple kill or an ace constantly. ace is killing the whole team. constantly i get double or triple kills. good damage too. and i don’t get it. one time they have the mvp to someone who had like 7 kills and this was one of the worst randoms teams i’ve played against cuz all my games are solo queued. my whole team had below 5 kills or even 0 whole match. i had like 15 my worst performance i couldn’t do nun else cuz team was trash

Venom is way more fun than Thor or Penni. The tracking aspect alone is more fun. It’s funny Venom has a 1 star difficulty, but I think to master he’s up there.
