iamjackg - Is It Though (2016)

Between 2014 and 2016 I made a bunch of original tracks. I never shared them with anybody because I always hoped that I could use them as demos. As often happens, life got in the way: I got a full time job, other hobbies, and music production kinda fell by the wayside. Besides, a few of these tracks were rejected when I actually submitted them 😛
I figured there was no point in keeping them hidden on a hard drive, never to be listened to. I love them all dearly, but in retrospect the production quality is not great at all, so don't judge them too hard.

It sounds like someone trying desperately to hold themselves together and so they get really into machinery to try and put off built or shame. It fills with sadness yet hope at the same time ❤

Sounds like something you’d find in a musical, where something happens, and it’s somebody’s fault. They’re trying to play it off like “Hey guys, don’t worry! Everything’s fine! It’s not bad” and then some people in the group are like “Is it though?” So there’s just a singing segment of some people being like “Everything’s ok!” And others arguing “Well, actually, is it?”
Very nice song! You did a great job with this.
