Hope they're both happy, I don't think Dan is meant for relationships but from recent podcast appearances he seems to be toning down some of these tendencies and who knows. Erin was as good a fit for him as he's ever likely to find and it was still like... this. EDIT: Also my tastes are more similar to Dan's but he's 100% wrong about romantic comedies not being "about" something. You could say the exact same thing about horror being a "seasoning" rather than a genre.
@@ArchibaldClumpy eh he's right though I mean what is a Rom com plot? It's the same plot over and over. Even horror can have variety to it but Rom com has to be the same
This was so clearly an emotionally abusive relationship. She goes out of her way to facilitate his lunacy and he still finds things to bitch about related to her. She's better off now and I genuinely hope he's grown up.
Yeah. Coming back to watch harmontown is frightening. I started when I was 16 or so. Now I’m 21 and I can recognise this for the train wreck it is. Jesus Christ.
Still a lot more happening with the family feud than just being a romance, also not a comedy. If it was just Juliet playing hard to get and Romeo being to anxious to make a move with no real external conflict it would be boring as shit
I like how Dan Harmon is literally making some kind of romantic comedy whilst being so agressive about romantic comedy. Except its more like weird uneasy emotional abuse you laugh at the absurdity of its just if that were in a film it probably would be a 'romantic comedy'. Something genuinely telling psychologically though about his boundaries.
Dan is cool, Erin embarrassed herself here. If you compare their "values" at the end, what they each have to offer, Dan is talking about about projects and developments, things that he's working on, that make money, the whole reason this show exists. Erin is talking about sex, something Dan can get anywhere. It is sad and I'm sure Dan is sad about it but Erin is not capable of keeping up.
Who the fuck would be capable of "keeping up" with that. Rants are entertaining on this show but who wants to live with that? She clearly gave him every allowance imaginable, said he was completely right in every way about everything except being a dick about it (he wasn't right), but just wanted to watch a fucking movie by herself which is apparently worth being endlessly nagged about. He's cartoonishly wrongheaded.
I'm so happy for them that they got separated, they're better as just friends. This is so awkward.

Can’t believe they got divorced

he's So Much to deal with and it's a funny bit, until it's not
Never liked listening to either of them air their dirty laundry. Like being trapped with your arguing parents.
I love its them both arguing about two different things
M. Night Shyamalan definitely heard this clip
So did Jordan Peele
@@skeletspook "it's called 'Chicken Huge'!"
Love her for that one. Jordan should've bought that title from her
God they should’ve gotten divorced a lot sooner. How can you listen to something like that and think that relationship would Ever last...
Older people were raised to think fighting all the time was normal.
dan ignores romeo and juliet here

Probably more like midsummer nights dream except its full of fantasy demigods
"We have to end this show..."
"Yeah... because it's become about a man and woman's relationship... so they hate it"
BOOM! HEADSHOT!
dan harmon predicted sirenhead
Robocop is kind of just a remake of frankenstein
