Been debating on getting this clean white ‘08 gsr, but heard something’s about the earlier model evo 10s but also seen some evox badge on trunk like yours, which I really like, was wondering if it’s just certain years or trims with that badging? Mine is a 2013. But yes, if I remember correctly it’s the 2010’s and older that have the stretched timing chain issue. See if they’ve fixed that issue before making a purchase. At the time I had a GFB BOV, but it made my car run like shit so I switched back to stock. It’s also worth noting I had the stock exhaust manifold on too. I switched to MAPerformace cast manifold and sounds slightly different now lol
FBO, but still on the the stock turbo. 1100cc injectors with 320 fuel pump on a conservative tune. AMS downpipe, AMS test pipe, and ETS V3 extreme catback exhaust.
@@kseries27 oh yeah a full 3” straight pipe is pretty loud and sounds really good. It’s not insanely loud like a straight piped V8 but it definitely makes people turn their heads lol
@@9nety1till it’s the loudest exhaust you can get for the evo x, but I wouldn’t say it’s extremely loud like a straight piped V8. I never had any cops pull me over for it. Once you upgrade your turbo, it gets even louder. The cabin noise isn’t that bad. I’ve driven other straight piped cars like a 370Z and they sound worst on the inside.
I’m running a aero varis bodykit, but that one you have looks sick!

Im running the same wheel specs as you just wondering if your fenders were rolled to be at that ride height. Was planning to drop couple inches lower.
Yeah my rears are rolled. My fronts aren’t because they don’t rub as bad as the rears.

They’re Gramlights 57DR’s in 18x9.5 +22 with 275/35 tires. Unfortunately I don’t have the wheels anymore.

It’s just the factory aero lip replica, but ordered it from eBay because my original one got destroyed hitting shredded tire bits on the interstate.

At the time of this video, it had an AMS widemouth downpipe, test pipe, ETS V3 extreme and stock exhaust manifold. Things have changed now.
