This is a very moving film and although very disturbing Richard Peirce gets his point over so clearly that this cruelty to elephants has to stop. By using 14 year old Charlotte to narrate it is clear that it's the next generation and generations to come, not just us, that will lose out if these beautiful animals are not saved. I can thoroughly recommend reading the book Giant Steps from which this film was based.

A heart-tugging but true film by the dedicated and talented Richard Peirce. Shocking, powerful and desperately moving. Brilliantly executed with the inspired use of Charlotte instead of an actress to tell the story - unless one is made of stone, you will "Cry with Her". Please pass this on to all your friends if you care about elephants, it's hard to watch but absolutely necessary!
Read Richard's book, "Giant Steps" also, which is the basis for this film.

This film is based on the book Giant Steps by Richard Peirce and it explores the issues of Elephants and the modern world.
The commentary by 14 year old Charlotte is wonderful and incredilbly moving.
Please watch the film and if you think the message is valuable PLEASE PASS THE LINKS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS. Its not an easy film to watch but it may be one of the most important wildlife films that you will ever see. THE FILM CONTAINS SCENES THAT SOME PEOPLE MAY FIND DISTURBING. TEACHERS OR PARENTS SHOULD VEIW THE FILM (15 Mins) BEFORE SHOWING IT TO YOUNG CHILDREN
