New subscriber, old guitarist. I'm a huge fan of both these ladies and the gentlemen of Ningen Isu. Kanami (lead guitarist) was trained from a very early age as a concert pianist, but switched to rock guitar in high school (she's currently in her mid to late twenties). Interesting you mentioned how well the rhythm guitar works in the tune. Miku (rhythm guitarist) was taught by Kanami and has only been playing about six years or so (she's primarily a singer who learned to play just to further compliment the band's sound......Japanese work ethic). Just a little background from a "fan". Your content is excellent, by the way.
Also, Kanami is the primary song writer for Band Maid and writes all the guitar parts (the bass player and drummer generally write their own parts once Kanami gives them the songs). So kanami teaches Miku whats she wants her to know and writes Miku's rhythm guitar parts especially for her and they sync very well with the lead parts.. Also. Akane the drummer is my favorite member too. She is a beast on her drum kit.
As a drummer I have to back up what you said about Akane. She is the first new drummer I e heard in 20 years to inspire me to go back and learn new stuff On The drums. Her composition and the way she is so busy while always playing the exactly appropriate bit for each part without getting in the way astounds me. She’s like Keith Moon but with actual musicianship skills, experience and formal training.
i dont know, Hideki Aoyama of kamiband is pretty sic but he does come from a family of drummers. if you want to start learning new things Akane is a good place to start, then graduate to Hideki. you should have the endurance by then to keep up with him. lol

Another good choice would be 'Secret My Lips' live ua-cam.com/video/qwONCVQX0RI/v-deo.html This is the Studio Coast version Nov 2017 - Frankly I think this is a stronger performance (also no effect on Saiki's vocal) than the earlier Akasaka version ua-cam.com/video/1Vuca7V-5Ec/v-deo.html

@@ChrisPage68 that's right, they aren't Lovebites. They're hard rock and Lovebites is METAL. Big difference there. Lovebites does kick ass, but as metal goes, there are many, MANY bands just like them. Band Maid, however, are kind of unique in their genre. I can't put my finger on it, but their style is just ........ different somehow.
Band-Maid have flavours of influence from many songs you've heard weaved into their compositions, with a level of individual skill that comes out as a whole very highly 'polished', tight deep sound thats not usuallly heard in a relatively young band (created in 2012) and all as I write this, they are all into their 20's. To say they aren't metal is simplistic & wrong, to me 'metal' is the more fitting & broader like their own encompassing style of complex sound, than the thinner variations of labels other people are fond of sub-classing thesedays to their own biases. ...in another YT comment thread, someone thought them as thrash metal?!?!, which they definately never have been, yet; as there lyrics aren't gutteral, 'uttered', dirge like or as depressing. But they do sometimes/often have the staccatto drum beats & guitar riffing tempos akin to hints of positive thrashing. ...they aren't only any one genre of amped music IMHO, with 2 and 3+/8ths electric guitars, drums and vocals. Kanami - lead riffmistress and chief shredder & main song composer, also head fan of Saki, Misa - bass assassin, of shy looks or humorous laughter, and the groups 'lone wolf' who is shy and savours the tastes of whiskey, Akane - drums & band 'leader', and co composer, + a near food-a-holic 'gorilla' to power those staccatto beats, Saiki - lead vocals & head lyric writer, mistress of stern looks, pokerface-ing & impatient sarcasm ...and kicking things, Miku - co vocalist, backing/covering guitar & crowd relations. The bands instigator and creator, she is knowingly the weakest of the guitars, but she's striving determinedly in improving her guitaring ability, which is much much more than it was 5+ years ago; she is stubornly driven to achieve with a smile, encouraging the band onward with the determination of a thoroughbred racing homing pidgeon. Together they jam, play, riff/beat out between them each song until it is itself, and they fully use moving sound around between speaker directions as the melodies flow to effect to. Three of the band members are Doctor-ated in music from the prestigeous Tokyo University of Arts, two being Masters and one a Bachalor, of which those 3 are among the higherst trained musicians in rock/metal, having been playing & learning wide areas music in some form since a young age before finding freedom & expression wthin their sound. They usually tend to alternate within a song, on each instuments across its path through the song, and across an album as a whole, with aspects from heavy metal to rock & roll, through soft lead/metal, prog-rock, pop back to into metal from Japan and around the world, and whatever other forms of an drums & amped guitar genre name's influences and flavours/gists of & nuances, whisps, vague scents of etc, drawn from over the last 60+ years that you can think of and/or hear scattered throughout their offerings. - Usually you can get at least 3 possible hints of different songs/vibes, per song if not more. Plus their lyrics are sung and themed to the songs feeling/flavour within the simply complex instrumental melodies they emotively weave & blend between your ears with some positive infusion lingering afterwards like a finely blended spirit of rocking metal. It is hard to find a bad song they've done so far, albiet there 1st album or two was under studio enforcement/guidance, until they sold enough to be allowed freedom to create their own path within and across the world of metal, it is hard to reccomend any one song. Dice, Play, Anemone, Take Me Higher, My Secret Lips, Secret Maiko Lips, The Dragon Cries, Moritorium Sorry for this massive wall of paragraphed text, I was triggered.
@@razor1uk610 first of all, her name is Saiki, not Saki. Secondly, their first album, Maid in Japan, from 2014, sounds like "hard" pop throughout. After that, they evolved to sound more hard rock, and I've ordered those next five albums because of that change. But after hearing every song they've done, I haven't heard a single one I would classify as metal. Band Maid remind me of an all-female AC/DC, and imo AC/DC are hard rock. Call them what you like, and I'll do the same, but hopefully we can agree that these five incredibly talented girls have formed one of the best bands in the world today.
Rock 'n Roll is in the good hands of 5 very talented and beautiful Japanese ladies. Akene is the drummer, MISA is the bassist and both are from the Tokyo School of Music. Kanami lead guitar has degrees in Economics & Marketing (parents wanted her to have a trade), but obviously continued her music training. All 3 were playing piano at 6yo. Miku stepped up to be the rhythm guitarist and her teacher is Kanami, they wanted a fuller sound but did not want to add another person. Miku is the founder of the the band and lyricist. Kanami is also writes the music.
Jimmy Page of Led Zepplin loved the playing of the drummer, Akane Hirose, like you. She's the one he asked to meet with after he caught a Band-Maid performance in Tokyo. Reportedly he praised her drumming very highly.
Having seen this band in LA last September l can tell you categorically they are one of the most impressive bands l have ever seen and l have been to over three hundred shows since August 1966. I grew up in San Francisco and have seen the best. Band-Maid is right there with them. They have to be seen live to be fully appreciated. The drummer was singled out by Jimmy Page after watching them live in Tokyo in 2016. The photo they took together is my screen saver. Kanami could give Eddy Van Halen a run for his money when it comes to tapping. The bassist MISA is now also finger tapping as well. Love this band to the death.
The band is so technically creative that it’s scary haha. I didn’t know the existed until a week ago and I can’t stop listening to their music. Now, I cannot speak Japanese….like….at all, but if you’re truly obsessed with music, then you’ll never need to know what they’re saying. It’s irrelevant, because the music jumps out at you
Many of the reactors to BAND-MAID videos say, "Awesome!", and that's just the impression that we all share. However, you Michael not just show your applause for each of the members but explain how excellent their playing abilities and combinations are while playing your guitar, which is far more convincing than the other reactors. I couldn't thank you enough from Japan.
MISA does both picking and slapping and was asked how she makes the switch. She was told that it's obvious enough how one might ditch a pick when switching to slapping but no one ever sees her grabbing a new pick. She said she typically uses only two picks a performance, that when she switch's to slapping she holds the pick exclusively with her index finger, something I can't even do. She makes the switch at ~7:54. How common is this trick?
Damn... it's amazing how fast you're catching on to what they are playing... all the while enjoying the song... just shows how good you are, that you really knows the stuff you are talking about.. i really enjoyed this video...
Your PRS in the thumbnail brought me in to check out your videos a couple weeks ago. Hooked on these videos and Now I’m practicing more than I ever have.
I love the Drummer!! (Akana Hirose) I also have a crush on her, in the way she drums! Other recommendable Band-Maid songs (MV) with killer drumming: "Domination", "Blooming", "Secret My Lips" Extra info: She learned to play the piano in her early childhood, and played the trombone in a brass-band at high-school, and started playing drums at 18. After graduating high school, she went to a music school to learn drums more at depth (instead of becoming a hair stylist).
I recommend checking out 3 Band-Maid songs: Moratorium live, Turn Me On live, Awkward live. Killer groove on Awkward and killer ending guitar solo. Moratorium has a pretty cool breakdown in the middle and excellent fills by the lead guitarist. Turn Me On has an awesome guitar solo.
I don't even play guitar or know anything about musical theory but your videos are still fun to watch, the same way Bob Ross is compelling even though I don't paint.
You have the holy trinity of Hirose Akane, MISA and Tono Kanami. I would put that unit as a unit against any other three who have ever played this game at anytime past or present.
I've been totally impressed with their entire catalog of tunes. They are top notch musicians. You were not the only one to take notice of the drummer. Jimmy Page commented about the drummer Akane after seeing the band play live in Tokyo in 2016. He complimented Akane and said she was the reincarnation of John Bonham. Akane was star struck. She later said Mr Jimmy Page-san offered her much encouragement and wanted to snap a photo with her. Not a bad endorsement. You should consider doing some more Band-Maid tunes.
5:30 minutes into this video and I am surprised you haven't said anything about Kanami's guitar. Nice session with this video. Since I try to play guitar, I will definitely use your suggestions! Thank you and looking forward to more Band-Maid reactions/sessions.
I had just run across the girls a couple days prior, watched every last official video on their channel multiple times, made my first iTunes purchase EVER (and first money spent on new music in DECADES) when I called up a friend of mine who had played guitar professionally in Japan back in the 90s. "Dude, I just found THE MOST AMAZING Japanese band! and they're all girls! and all dressed up li...." "Oh, you found Band-Maid, here, let me send you a link" ONSET. I swore I had no idea it could get any more amazing than what I had already listened to. For drums, the one third video I saw from them is what put me over the edge. Its actually not that hardest thing, but composition wise is amazing. This is the only one where I prefer the studio recording over the live. Real Existence. ua-cam.com/video/9TkHpvaO09c/v-deo.html Listen to her progression through each section. In the verse and chorus she has 2 or 3 different changes in each section. Then there is the build up and guitar solo. For which there are another 3. Most drummers will have 2 or 3 grooves per song. Akane makes it a 4 minute drum solo while somehow making each and every note supportive of the rest of the band and never getting in the way of anyone.
Another song or 2 where she displays some pretty serious skill and shifts are Blooming (for sheer attack mode) and Secret My Lips for the differences in each section of the song. Also, Take Me Higher Live where each progression is more and more complex.
It was fascinating watching you try to marry your brain processing speed with the all-out assault of "Onset". And as for learning the guitar work on the spot, I salute your bravery, sir! I love watching all sorts of people react to Band-Maid: metalheads, kids, couples, old rockers, and it doesn't matter if they are musically literate or not... their fuses just gotta blow!
"I love the drummer!" So do I, so does Jimmy Page, you're in good company. Everybody loves the drummer. Yes, probably the best one in the band and that's saying a lot. He hasn't seen Saki-sun yet. The Queen of Japan......well, the Queen of the World.
As a big fan of the guitarist it took me a while to realise the same thing - Akane the drummer is the best musician there and that's saying something because they're all great in their own way. A big fan of all of them. Enjoyed your video, thanks
Akane is an absolute gem on Drums. Don't sleep on Kanami's Guitars though since she also writes most of the music. In terms of raw talent skill though, I'd agree Akane is probably on top. I'd say Akane, Kanami, MISA, Miku, in that order, instrumentally, But all of the Ladies are incredibly talented. I hear some folk bash Miku, as a weak link, but in many ways I think she is the Lars Ulrich of the band... no he best musician, bu he one with the driving vision, and more than good enough, as a musician (and getting better). But Akane's drumming makes me think of what would have happened if Keith Moon and John Bonham had a Japaense baby. Always on the edge of out of control/too much with her fills, but always pulling it back in the very last millisecond to create this amazing, gonzo tapestry of percussion. As a bassist, I love what MISA brings, but Akane's drums are the highlight of literally every track, for me.
@@ChrisPage68 The Japanese rock and metal ladies have been killing it for the last decade or so. Granted you can go back to 81-82 when Show-Ya formed and was WAY ahead of the curve.
@@ChrisPage68 - and Saki and Hazuki from Nemophila? :) As an icing on the cake, both Lovebites and Nemophila have killer drummers. OK - MISA as a basist stands out - but there is absolutely nothing wrong with Fami and Haraguchi-san either, on the contrary.
It's great seeing someone who really understands music enjoying BAND MAID as much as the rest of us do. I hope you get around to seeing more of their songs. There's plenty of them and they are all good.
Check out Dice - Band Maid !! :D And btw maybe you noticed but while her solo Misa (bass player) switch pick to finger style while playing XD They are all so talented anyway :)
@@Guitargate She's had a guitar deal with them for a couple of yeas now. She's always said that Santana was one of her guitar inspirations, so her label worked a deal for her. Before that, she used guitars from a small, custom boutique in Tokyo called Addictone. Just a couple of months before the PRS deal, Addictone released a Kanami Tono custom signature guitar that retailed for around $4,000.00 that was made to her specifications. Unfortunately, right after the PRS partnership was announced, that Addictone custom signature guitar went the way of the dodo. If you look at photos from 2015 and 2016, you can see the two Addictone guitars she used (one red and one green).
The first song i heard i noticed the drummer straight away. Shd hits it like Paice, has Moons busy style and Ringo's flair. A band of rock goddesses...
They are all excellent musicians. They are perfectly in sync with each other and sound amazing. I agree with you. The drummer is the heart and soul of the band. She may not be the singer, but she is absolutely the leader.
I'll just add to the Band-Maid comments here. Absolutely talent stacked band. Some good suggestions on songs to look at by them. For what you like to do on your channel I would suggest by Band-Maid the following (not in any order): Blooming, Rinne, Bubble, Don't You Tell Me, Real Existence, Puzzle, Play, Dice. By the way, found your channel due to the Ninjen Isu reaction you did which I loved by the way. I really like reaction videos such as yours in which someone who knows what is going on as well as understands and appreciates good musicianship can speak to the amazing talent these ladies possess. I would also say that the dynamic combo of Akane on drums and Misa on bass are what really set this band apart from all others. Separately they are both incredible artists. Together they a force to be reckoned with!
This maybe a better video to follow as the fancam stayed on her finger work through most of the song it has good sound too for a fancam. BAND-MAID LIVE in London Onset (instr.) - Kanami-focused
Other than the live version , Bandmaid also released a music video ( of sorts) that showcases individual instrument's contribution for onset separately ( it's the one with white background). Normally I would have suggested you that coz it's more clearer .
the drummer and bassist are both phenomenal. of course, everyone in the group is excellent - just the two prior mentioned stand out to me. check out their tune " dice ". that is the song that sold me on the bassist and drummer.
React to The Warning a rock trio of teenage sisters from Mexico. They have already released two full length albums. They write all their music. All were classically trained on piano at five years of age.
Jimmy Page says that after Bonham, Akane is the best drummer he's ever heard! He actually went backstage at a gig so he could get a photo with her. When they told her Jimmy Page wanted to meet her, she thought she was being pranked!
not to take away from anyone in the band, coz each member fills their role perfectly.. but i've always felt that having Akane on drums is the main factor that elevates the band's sound.. in a way that grabs your attention(subconsciously or otherwise) and lets you know that this band is legit
Hey Michael, check out BAND-MAID's latest instrumental FROM NOW ON. It's an MV on their channel and it's a rock/metal/prog delight. Almost a guitar solo for 3 minutes but the rest of the band brings it to life.
IF someone would have told me 10 years ago that my favorite hard rock band would consist of 5 Japanese women in maid outfits, I'd have laughed in their face. Yet, Here we are.

Unlike some Japanese groups, they do a lot of shows all over the world so make sure you grab a ticket to their next tour. Live band maid is absolutely incredible.
I have seen many many reactions to a boat load of different music. However, you sir are very very different. I don't subscribe to many chanels, but your's was a no brainer. I play drums - a bit - and am always looking for explanation and example. I don't play anywhere near as good as this lady, but am real keen......and therefore aspire at best. I always admire good guitarists, you clearly are in full command of yours. This band along with Lovebites and Mary's Blood are the future of good technical melodic rock in our world. I look forward to more of the same from you - great stuff.
Well what did you think did you like it or not ? Please don't tell me you think the guitar player is just adequate ? I've been playing the bass for over 30 years. Now I am not a professional musician I do it for enjoyment. But the fact that this guitar player composes all the music on top of her solos and such. I think it's a testament to her ability. And the ability of this amazing band !
I'm probably very biased anyway towards the rhythm section, but yes, Akane the drummer and MISA the bassist are one of the main reasons I noticed them in the first place. Not making in-band comparison (Kanami is exactly as good as a guitarist and as composer), just confirming that those two are head-turners. SO rare to find these occurrences in a rock band, especially today.
*THE WARNING* is a Rock trio from Monterrey-Mexico, formed by three sisters - Daniela (Guitar / Lead vocals) 20 yo, Paulina (Drums / Vocals) 18 yo and Alejandra (Bass / Vocals) 15 yo. They started playing covers 6 years ago, but they now have an EP and 2 albums of original songs in English, and are preparing a third one. They are also going to tour the US and Canada next two months. It is difficult to choose a song to show here, they are all very good, so I will choose the first song they composed in Spanish last year, to respond to criticism from some Mexican audience that demanded a theme in their native language. I would love to have your reaction to the song "Narcisista", so I leave the link below. Thank you! ua-cam.com/video/O7IAEhN4RMM/v-deo.html
Good choice. This is their only release in Spanish! Six years ago their viral video of their cover of "Enter Sandman" got recognized by Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett, who tweeted, 'The drummer kicks maximum ass!" In fact, The Warning has been noticed by Metallica. They have opened for Stryper, The Killers, and Def Leppard, among others. Alejandra, the 15-year-old bassist, is a Featured Artist on the Spector Bass website. If they come to a city near you, make sure you go see them!! An incredible power rock trio from Monterrey! You have been Warned!
All of them are so talented and actually have a pretty cool story as to how the band came together and musical backgrounds. Kaname the lead guitarist did covers on youtube Miku who started the band approached her with the idea, her and Akane the drummer did colabs so Kaname suggested her and Kaname new Misa the bassist through music school and suggested her. Miku the rhythm guitarist was originally the singer but didnt think her voice worked well so they got saiki as the lead vocalist and miku was just going to do back up vocals till iirc Akane suggested she learn rhythm guitar and Kaname taught her to play. The level mikus at now is really impressive and reflects her work ethic
If you see this, my favorite Band-Maid song is "Daydreaming." It's so well done from everyone in the band and so well written. Seriously an underrated song.
Looking at your beautiful selection of PRS is a treat, but I would enjoy your channel even without them. I have been watching reactions for a while and I think you've found a pretty brilliant way to add a new twist to the format. I'd like to see you do some Umphrey's McGee - Bridgeless live from 11/01/14 would be awesome, but if 30 minutes is too much, pretty much any of their stuff is worth checking out.

I see Band-maid and I click! ❤ them! The rythm guitar was originally the vocalist, but soon found out her voice wasn't good enough for the material. You know Japanese are perfectionists, so she (Miku) deicided to bring audition a singer. And she wouldn't stand there with just a mike she got help from Kanami to get better at guitar. She has progressed a lot last 5 years, and you hear it on the last album.
There will be a huge deluge of comments for you to check out more band maid tracks. Lots of their live stuff, I’ll bet. But maybe for what you do, it might be worth checking out their studio recordings/music videos. “Bubble” is a favorite of mine, but you could also check out Last Fiction Days, Dice, or Domination.
Dice, Play, Anemone, Take Me Higher, My Secret Lips, Secret Maiko Lips, The Dragon Cries, Moritorium
Sorry for this massive wall of paragraphed text, I was triggered.
The drummer is a killer indeed. A monster. The cutest Godzilla ever is playing drums, stomping every building in Tokyo.
Drum-zilla
No, that's Haruna from Lovebites. 😜
Imre Kalman 🤣 drum-zilla - wonderful!
Love this band to the death.
well since eddy pretty much invented the finger tap. id say the student has become the master.
@@ssnidely Sammy Hagar might dispute that but l totally agree.
wuuu fancy seeing you here~~ XD
Thats awesome man
The band is so technically creative that it’s scary haha.
Akane Hirose is one of my all-time favorite drummers. Keep diving into Band-Maid!
Band Maid is yet another fine example of musicianship coming out of Japan.
I've never seen it before. I met her and told her that she is the only person on the planet who does it.
Kanami is the guitarist and she's pretty awesome in all the songs I've listened to by them.
Damn... it's amazing how fast you're catching on to what they are playing... all the while enjoying the song... just shows how good you are, that you really knows the stuff you are talking about.. i really enjoyed this video...
Your PRS in the thumbnail brought me in to check out your videos a couple weeks ago. Hooked on these videos and Now I’m practicing more than I ever have.
dude. Me too. we're in this together!
58 yr old guitar vet. Just found you. Love the vibe and format of the shows.
I love the Drummer!! (Akana Hirose)
I also have a crush on her, in the way she drums!
Other recommendable Band-Maid songs (MV) with killer drumming:
"Domination", "Blooming", "Secret My Lips"
Extra info: She learned to play the piano in her early childhood, and played the trombone in a brass-band at high-school, and started playing drums at 18. After graduating high school, she went to a music school to learn drums more at depth (instead of becoming a hair stylist).
I been watching Band-Maid for Five years, and got to see them In Dallas. Theirs live show are Great.
Great stuff, loving the guitar breakdowns. More Band-Maid!
I don't even play guitar or know anything about musical theory but your videos are still fun to watch, the same way Bob Ross is compelling even though I don't paint.
Lol true but it's definitely because of his attitude .. he's a cool chill guy
First watch due to Band Maid reaction, great reaction, killer insight, i'm on board captain!
This band brought rock back to many around the world. And yes, Akane on the drums is one of the best drummers to come up in recent decades.
You have the holy trinity of Hirose Akane, MISA and Tono Kanami. I would put that unit as a unit against any other three who have ever played this game at anytime past or present.
There have been great rock and metal bands in Japan for decades.
@@ChrisPage68
In Japan yes. But Band Maid has taken it out of Japan as well.
Real Existence.
ua-cam.com/video/9TkHpvaO09c/v-deo.html
Listen to her progression through each section.
It takes a guitarist to spot a great drummer. :)
Douglas Aird 💕👍🤘
Band maid army coming soon.
We are here!
already
The Maidiacs ! Thats What We Are ! 😆🤘
BAND-MAID Sentai wa kochira!
Er..not quite.
Who's that? Can't find her anywhere on youtube.
@@le-blanc1440 Saiki Atsumi is the lead singer of Band Maid. She wasn't in this, because "Onset" is an instrumental track.
Well... Your are kind of always the best drummer in the band when you are the only drummer ... 🤔😑
@@MrFloppyHare oh, so he spelled her name wrong. Saiki not Saki, got it. And i thought he was talking about drummers.
As a big fan of the guitarist it took me a while to realise the same thing - Akane the drummer is the best musician there and that's saying something because they're all great in their own way. A big fan of all of them. Enjoyed your video, thanks
All their songs are so well written, it doesn’t even matter if you don’t understand a word of Japanese, truly terrific
I second all the calls for more BAND MAID. I don't even care which song, because they are all good.
....and never forget, that Kanami is composing the most music.
He does not know that. Trying to prove himself. Kanami is special.
Yes band maid,top band.
FYI Akene also plays the trombone & piano!
Nothing about the singer? Vocals when used as music are also an instrument.
Not heard of Miyako and Midori from Lovebites? 😜
As an icing on the cake, both Lovebites and Nemophila have killer drummers.
OK - MISA as a basist stands out - but there is absolutely nothing wrong with Fami and Haraguchi-san either, on the contrary.
BAND-MAID is the best thing you can listen to.
Er...not necessarily true. Lovebites, Aldious, Doll$boxx, Unlucky Morpheus, Bridear... I

Great stufff👍 . I agree about the drummer. She is awesome.
It's great seeing someone who really understands music enjoying BAND MAID as much as the rest of us do. I hope you get around to seeing more of their songs. There's plenty of them and they are all good.
Band Maid!!
Best rocking maids in the world!! Totally understandable that the drummer drove you nuts!!
Check out Dice - Band Maid !! :D
And btw maybe you noticed but while her solo Misa (bass player) switch pick to finger style while playing XD They are all so talented anyway :)
Yay! I was hoping you'd do Band Maid!
@Guitargate: Did you notice that Kanami is playing a PRS; seems like something you'd be interested in.....
I did indeed!
@@saldiven2009 Very cool! I'll be sure to ask PRS all about it. Thanks!
I have seen so many of these reaction videos. Yours was so entertaining. I like that you take this approach to it. Good Job.

More Band Maid!!!
The first song i heard i noticed the drummer straight away. Shd hits it like Paice, has Moons busy style and Ringo's flair. A band of rock goddesses...
Akane, the drummer. She's my absolute favorite in the band. I don't think they've found a limit to her energy yet.
They are all excellent musicians. They are perfectly in sync with each other and sound amazing. I agree with you. The drummer is the heart and soul of the band. She may not be the singer, but she is absolutely the leader.
たまたま見ましたがやっぱりあ~ちゃんの凄さは万国共通なんですね🥁😁
Akane the drummer in my opinion she is the backbone in this band..! She is so so good..they are all amazing but Akane she is just phenomenal..!
PRS just released a limited edition signature Kanami model for the lead guitar player.
I LOVE This Band!
Band Maid crushes everything!
Nope, much as I love them.
This maybe a better video to follow as the fancam stayed on her finger work through most of the song it has good sound too for a fancam.

Yea ... I'll say it ... this is as good as anything Rush did ... this is off the charts precision playing ... and Rocking Metal hard ....
not to take away from anyone in the band, coz each member fills their role perfectly.. but i've always felt that having Akane on drums is the main factor that elevates the band's sound.. in a way that grabs your attention(subconsciously or otherwise) and lets you know that this band is legit
Ah, Yea!!! Akane! Akane! Akane!!
makes me wonder what kinda drumming Kanami has on the demos before Akane takes a crack at it
Hey Michael, check out BAND-MAID's latest instrumental FROM NOW ON. It's an MV on their channel and it's a rock/metal/prog delight. Almost a guitar solo for 3 minutes but the rest of the band brings it to life.

Take Me Higher Live is the same way, and I one of the few I prefer over the studio version

If you like band maid you need to listen to the Warning!!!
For sure!
No doubt !!! :-)
*The Warning Rocks!!!*
Absolutely!
Truer words are rarely spoken.
You smart. Me stupid. (Loving the vids, btw)
Yes, Narcisista is a good one. You won't be disappointed.
I agree with you folks. Narcisista is a good choice.
I agree, Narcisista would be a good song for a reaction video
Queen of the Murder Scene is another great song with a great solo too.
bandmeid! love!
