I think the Carcharodontosaurus is better tamed, because of all of its other attacks that aren't used while wild.
A charchar is better for fighting groups like OSTDs or caves but if it’s a one hard opponent like a titan the giga is the way to go
The carcha had no stacks tho... its the main reason giga won

Really? Fresh counterparts vs. half-dead contestors? They had no chances. But giga still almost did it
I know the nerf is to balance the Carchar and the Giga, but I mean come on it sucks that you tame a deadly beast and get this thing that requires breeding and breeding just to get it to not even half the health of it’s wild form after maximum mutations. But then again, the damage can become extremely deadly since it works as a percentage, stamina sucks though too which is why I’d rather prioritise other dinos such as Allos but thats just my opinion. You can tame a Titanosaur though and it does not receive a nerf but at the cost of not being able to upgrade it but it still serves as a better tank than the Carchar and the Giga.
Great video cantex, i liked the idea of 1vs1 deadrun competitions. Btw for the next video you could do an updated race to see which is the fastest creature in ark with all the new creatures that were added since the last race, because it was like 4 years ago and genesis, fjordur,... creatures didn't exist then :)

@@إيهموليد-د9تeven with the rage a max bloodraged carchar will deal more damage than a giga with rage, and will heal as fast as wolverine, there isn't much you can do against a fully bloodraged carch specially since it's alot faster than a giga
I love the race. I understand the point of putting then wild so that both are in optimal power. I feel that if it was tamed it would favor the carcha. The issue is that the wild giga is meant to be op to serve as a threat towards the player. The carcha on the other hand doesn't see an affect to its stats when it's tamed and actively benefits from acquiring more kills unlike the giga where it is most optimal when fresh.

More I watch these Giga vs Carchar death runs/ fights, the more clear bias I see towards the giga, so many cuts to see the Carchar no longer in its bloodlust mode, we had a admin do something similar to this on our server and the carchar won but a noticeable margin, it had longer pauses due to its agro animation, but once it killed a alpha it was plain sailing from there.
Carchar once it gets over 50 in its bloodlust is on par /stronger than a giga and its hp Regens like a Argy but constant.
All just depends on what your doing. When i'm trying to push off raiders at my turret tower i don't have time to go around and get the Charch stacks before i push lol, need that giga bite power on the first bite. But when i'm doing an OSD or meat farming give me a Carchar any day.

Giga have actually has 400 damage(not 500) and Carcha has a base 211.
I prefer the carchar tbh. On the unofficial server I play on, I tamed two low level carchars, bred them, and imprinted the baby. She didn’t even have the best stats, but ended with 46k health and pumped her to around 1000% melee. Full blood rage takes out a giga in about 9 chomps. At least on my server, she’s the empress of the ark overworld.

hmm Those are just not realistic numbers for a tamed charch, and lower level ones at that. Your server is way boosted. So unfortunatly dosn't have much relevence to this conversation. Carchar is better for meat farming and horde fights like OSD, Giga is simply a better option for PVP when you need full power on the first bite, and don't have time to build up stacks.
Stop the cap blud and go back to Ohio where Kai Cenat phanom taxes your grimace shake in skibiti toilet and you are forced to start mewing in the backrooms

Carchar is better. Sure the giga has more damage but the carchar can fit in the tek cave and when it has full bloodrage it can annihilate basically anything. Also carcharodontosaurus has no rage so its more useful for pvp. Carchar looks 100x better

The charcar seems better against hordes where it can maintain its buff. It would be better than a giga for all of the wave based battles, while the giga is better against other bigger stronger dinos, such as the charcar
I take this as charcar is more dangerous to anything else, while the giga is better against OTHER big strong creatures but not as effective against armies.
Both are cool and i think the charcar looks cooler too

Great video, but I would have put the alphas at the end. The Carchar lost it's blood rage stack due to the amount of time it took to kill. Otherwise the Carchar would have easily surpassed the giga due to being able to do equal damage to a giga at 50 stacks.
no not true, if you pay attention, after every kill or 2, he resets them. kind of bias in a way cause he's not letting the blood rage stack. he needs to leave it alone and let it stack so we can see the real power of the carchar

putting them up against opposite dinos in the run test ruined it, they should have been fighting the same dinos the entire way through, having them wild doesn't help to compare what they would actually be tamed though
and again, why do you keep resetting the carchar? you are not allowing it to stack its blood rage to do increased damage. its just not fair for the carchar when you take away one of its key features.
The giga doesn’t get to bleed, and the carchar still gets its rage
@@callumconnors5190 so? Giga has the highest damage to level up (melee) in the game. Carchar does not keep its rage, take a closer look. Everytime a creature is killed, he resets it back 0 which is just not fair meanwhile the giga keeps his damage untouched

So I recently found out and still as of right now instead of fighting head on with the carchar,carchars have much better mobility and you can attack running in circles of course you can only do it for so long cause of Stam but honestly if you can get the giga down to decent health the fight is yours as a carchar!

Bit late to the party but does anyone know if a wild carchar gets the bloodlust buff like a tamed one? After 100 kills a good leveled tamed carchar can wipe the floor with a wild giga. Albeit my carchar was ~95 at tame with one melee mutation on a baby later that I used and it killed a ~80ish giga, couldn't find a max. Got out without even losing like 1/10th of my health, it was insane.

that was only enough kills to get the char to 38 stacks. at full stacks its way faster, tankier, and does more damage. without max stacks the giga always wins. giga is the 1v1 king, char is the horde killer king

The Car is only praised by PVE bobs. No one has time to go gather the stacks needed to make their Car better then a Giga when their turrets are being soaked. Same goes for attacking, the stacks fall off 85% of the time before you even get a chance to use it. Until they release a (giga like) dino that don't have a gotcha mechanic, then the Giga remains on top, and the go to for most tribe still. I get a lot of Car fan boys that get pissy with me, but who cares. They can never prove their claims at Car being better then the Giga in PVP. My tribe has killed Car after Car thrown at us because the defenders can't get the stacks in time to make it useful, and even IF THEY COULD we can counter a Car attack very easily at our FOB. Honestly, wish it were more useful because it looks fucking sick.

Best possible scenario stacked completely in the Charchar's favor, where it's able to take full advantage of its stacking kill buff, and it's still completely outclassed by the giga
absolute joke of a creature, they stacked it with so many random worthless effects thinking they were making a dinosaur catered to pvp, and in doing so demonstrate that they know fucking nothing about the state of pvp in their game.

I've asked once I'll ask again what's the point of using a wild giga if you take away its ability? You'll give every other creature it's ability except the giga making it kinda not fair. If the giga has no ability then so too should the other creatures not have theirs

I really hope my ark works... because last time i tried about 1-2 weeks ago it always (also in singleplayer AND multiplayer non modded) always when i spawned gave me a white screen for eternity and i really want to test out the carcharodonto BADLY
because compared to the giga who just *bite* *walk* *bite* *walk* the carcharo has some really nice graphics nice animations and so good walk animations i guess

Nice idea but dsnt work rlly good. The charca ofc loses all his frenzy stacks on the alphas cuz he dsnt kill anything for a decend amount of time. This wouldnt be the case in a real fight scenario
