Athena's reaction to that shot going off was akin to Bobby's reaction hearing that shot after listening to his wife fighting for her life and he didn't know she was dead or alive....the parallels...I love this show!
This scene has so many similars and contrasts at the same time. Jr was chasing Tanya on the night of her death and Athena said he used to chase her down as well. But in the end it was Athena chasing him to bring Tanya to justice. Such a powerful scene!
This was the standout sequence in what I think is one of the best episodes of the entire show. The music, the cinematography, the parallels between characters, the jumps between the present and past. Incredible TV right here.
Ok but can we talk about the beginning of this scene? It's literally the same energy as when Eddie is being held hostage by the guy in Season 5 and Buck hears the shot go off & runs to him 👀
why this be safe, l have a feeling that Tanya was showing Athena carter grant which no way to go do that she hut okay could catch her killer and bring catch him to justice
Nome da série é 9-1-1 temporada 6 eps 2 e continua no 4 episodio. Essa cena aí já foi no 4 episodio quando descobriram tudo. Pra mim foi o episódio mais pesado e triste da série😔
The Missing Girl is named Tanya. She was a Kid from Athena's Neighborhood. Athena saw her at School and Church all the time. In Fact, Tanya is the reason why Athena wanted to become a Police Officer.
The very end scene of this girl when he grabs her, I reckon he smothered her/snapped her neck too or beat her up whilst dragging her away, It’s truly awful to think what happened when Tanya was caught by Junior at the end 1:53 😞😞😞😞
Girls get assaulted at home too. There's been cases of Brothers, fathers, uncles molesting women at home. It's men who should stop attacking girls or women. This little girl would have been alive if the man didn't kill her.

The way Athena is so worried true love
Well obviously she’d be worried 😭
The music in this episode is on point!
I have never felt so heartfelt ever in a 9-1-1 episode 😢
Poor Tanya , she didn’t deserve what happened to her
No children deserve to die like this
This scene was so sad when it switched from Athena to the girl
Far out, never have i been so moved by a scene.. and its all thanks to Nina Simone's beautiful voice playing over this heartbreaking imagery.

And when Bobby hears the gunshot when Jeffrey attacked Athena in season 3🥺

This episode is theatrical worthy. Have to look up the director: Steven K. Tsuchida.

@@SgtAJ218 Thanks, I missed that.
@@DaRealPatrickPyeah her next door neighbour, think she was a couple grades below Athena shame it took 45 years to find her😢or something like that
What happened to the little girl
Watch in ep 2
Or one of the clips in ep 2

@@seanbowes94I think he suffocated her, trying to keep her quiet while he did really bad things to her… bc we don’t get told how she died😢
mmm whatcha saaaaaay
That is sad but that girl would be alive if she just listened and stayed home or when her sister saw her she should have just taken her home
