- Today on It Figures! I finish this three part series building the BanDai Dragon Ball Z (ドラゴンボールＺ) Saiyan (サイヤ人) Space Pod with Vegeta! Here I do the final detailing, painting and trying to get this kit to look a bit closer to what we see in the manga and anime! This is the newest in the Dragon Ball Z easily assembled model kits, and I believe it's the first vehicle one. Previously they have released a few Goku kits, Freeza, Piccolo and Cell.

Personally, realism is best. Impact points especially on the glass and burn marks on atmospheric entry, etc. And lastly this deserves a diorama backdrop. Someone posted a great diorama but your weathering on the pod is much better. Great match with his. Still prefer more realism though and Vegeta climbing out of it or levetating upwards from it. Badass...

How did you get it to so seamless ? the kit tends to have alot of gaps on the seams.
Much better than the basic product aha Will you do the same for K2-SO and the Scout Trooper ?
When it's this much bare plastic adding little detail really helps out the look. I have K2 so I will do him probably similar to how I did the C3PO, which you can see a few videos of in my channel. I did build a Scout Trooper a while back but that was just a more relaxed build, so I didn't bother painting it and have actually cannibalized his bike for parts for other builds haha.

did you grow up playing dragon ball games on famicom?? i noticed the game music although i can't remember exactly which one it's from. lol
cant find a time machine to save my ass unless i wanna pay 200 or higher and yes the scratches make it look much cooler i wish i could do that to mine lol
