Another factor is that in the manhwa when Love presents the test he does a demonstration and scores 13,000,000. This alone gives you an idea of the difference in strength between a regular and a Ranker.
has it been explained why Rankers are so powerful? Is it an innate ability hence they reached the top compared to everyone else or do they receive power once they reach the top ? Because at the moment the power scale just seems ridiculous.
@@siddery8080 no particular explanation as far as i remember, but considering it takes the average regular around a century to reach the top (if not more, i tend to forget details like that), they have plenty of time training their ass off and learning all kinds of techniques and refining their shinsu control. remember how in season 1 bam was just barely able to hit a balloon with shinsu blasts? 6 years of FUG training and he is stronger than someone from the 10 great families, which, as you can imagine from all the hype around jahad and the 10 families, are *strong* granted, bam is an irregular so he's another different matter, but yeah

Let me answer your question, most of the people in the tower are born in the tower and known as regulars , most regulars live on the floor they are born in and live there forever, other regulars can wish to climb the tower if they wish to , but if they fail on the qualification exam (2nd floor test from season 1) they get sent back to the floor they were born on , but if they pass a test and start climbing the tower , they live on the floor they are on , off they can still go to lower floors tho

The rest of inhabitants of the Tower live on the Outer Tower of whatever floor they may be on. In the Outer Tower there's just "normal" people living their everyday life, no tests, no climbing. It is not until Regulars pass the 20th floor that they're given the right to freely move through the floors of the Inner Tower they've passed the tests for and the Middle and Outer Tower. From the moment Regulars pass the 2nd floor until they pass the 20th floor they're confined to the Inner Tower (and I think they can't even move to previous conquered floors of the Inner Tower either) unless they fully give up in which case they are sent to the Middle Tower, from which they can go to the Outer one, but only of the floor they've given up on (so if you give up on a floor your home is not on you're absolutely fucked); that's the reason why Miseng, the little kid, says she needs to climb and pass this floor to go back to her mom and dad. Apparently the tests from the 3rd floor to the 19th (both included) are far easier than those of the 20th, so Regulars don't tend to get stuck on those ones. That's the reason why the 20th floor is a special case where the Inner Tower is fairly densely populated, by Regulars that get stuck on these much harder tests to get E-Rank and the privileges previously mentioned, and a sort of residential city has been built as a result.
Great video guys! aight so as a long time fan i will give some general info about the tower we are supposed to know at this point (without spoilers since the author explained all this in a vlog attached to season 1): we don't know how many floors there are in the tower we just now that if you cliimb it to the end you wll get whatever it is that you desire. regulars are inhabitants of the tower chosen by headon to climb through the tests from the 2nd floor irregulars are people from outside the tower we only know of 14 so far in the story (jahad , 10 family head , "urek" who asked yuri in s1 to give the wings to bam, bam and rachel) they are also known for their inhuman talent in shinsu and the speed at which they grow. to climb you have to be an irregular. jahad climbed to the 134th floor and stopped and ruled over these floors and made a system where regulars (people from the tower) can climb through tests just like the irregulars and get stronger rankers are the regulars who climbed to the 134th floor via jahad's system every known floor except the first (headon's floor , the administrator) have inner mid and outer areas , inner areas are for the tests and they can be as big as a country , middle area are for people from the jahad empire not chosen by headon (people who did not climb the tower) or who stopped climbing , it's a huge area where most of the tower population is concentrated in in each floor the outer area can be as large as the two americas or a whole planet like ours , it can have kingdoms under the jahad famiily or not and many other creatures we also know that people age slowly and can spend a couple centuries before before reaching adulthood and their lfe expectancy increases the better their shinsu resistance is and we just learned that fug is an organisation that works against jahad and the ten families

Each floor is the size of American Continents (North and South), inhabitants are diverse with different cultures and languages. Some people don't even know that they live inside a Tower or residing on one of the Tower floors. Each Tower floor is essentially a world. There are Kingdoms, conflicts and wars too, just like IRL Earth's history. So far, there are at least 135 confirmed floors. Only very few people are chosen by the administrator to be a 'Regular.' Regulars are stronger than normal people, they have longer lifespans and can live for several hundred years. Regulars can stop climbing if they want and settle on higher floors to live a good life. Rankers are Regulars who reached the 135th floor, they don't grow old, but can still die if killed, they can live for several thousand years. Rankers are guaranteed to have a better life, although only a large percentage of the regulars can reach the 'top,' most regulars either gave up, settled on higher floors or died during their climb.
