A masterpiece, I've been listening to music for 50 years, and it transports me to levels of emotion like Supper's Ready by Genesis. And the supreme moment of the delicate dance of the Asami lotus flower, among dreamy snowflakes, to the sweet sounds of the piano and the Spanish guitar, are part of my musical Olympus. I love them!
LOVEBITES - A Frozen Serenade lyrics: Crystal tears Falling from the skies Veiling fears The emptiness inside Time is just passing by Killing me under the soft twilight A frozen melody Of doves and ravens dancing in melancholy A distant memory If only this snow could erase the pain I'd wake up in a serenade One life ends And one life begins Evanesce To our origins When I'm lost on my way Lead my heart and guide me with your grace A frozen melody Of doves and ravens dancing in melancholy A distant memory If only this snow could erase the pain I'd wake up in a serenade Just like a dream, just like a bird I'll keep on singing out Even if my voice cannot reach you Seasons may pass, but its beauty will never fade away All living things are precious and irreplaceable Just like a dream, just like a bird I'll keep on singing out Even if my voice cannot reach you White butterflies are fluttering under the silver sky If only I could wish to see you once more ----- lyrics: asami music: asami & Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) & Mao album: Electric Pentagram 01/29/2020
An epic and a masterpiece offering from the Queens of Metal and done LIVE no less. Midori really shines along with Haruna here. She shreds then goes to the acoustic guitar and then back into shred mode while Miyako goes off on that piano as usual. A wonderful ballad for Asami's bluesy vocals and shows the diverse range of the band. Try Swan Song with the Chopin piano intro LIVE ua-cam.com/video/dcMVtrvpJpk/v-deo.html and see what the piano can add to another epic masterpiece from the band.
@Corkyeyreacts And make sure to use the aforementioned link because there're a few LIVE versions of this song on YT and only this suggested video has the Chopin intro.
Great reaction. I personally don't mind you call them by the blond guitarist or the brunette guitrist or the drummer. Heavy Metal Never Dies is the album title, the tour title is Ride For Vengeance.

You are wrong on two counts there. 1) "Frozen Serenade" is not about nuclear winter. Neither Hiroshima nor Nagasaki had a nuclear winter. A true nuclear winter would take many more nuclear detonations happening closer together than two small detonations three days apart. The term "nuclear winter" wasn't coined until the 1980s because it has never happened and was theorized to be a result of nuclear conflict between the USA and the USSR. Lastly, Asami has specifically said "Frozen Serenade" is a sad winter song written because "Electric Pentagram" was coming out in the winter. That's all. This nuclear winter fake news needs to stop. 2. "Above the Black Sea" is unrelated to "The Apocalypse" and "Under the Red Sky." There is no trilogy. Again, this is directly from the writer, Asami, who calls "Under the Red Sky" the *_sequel_* to "The Apocalypse." Yes, all three songs deal with World War II, but "Above the Black Sea" is about the various Japanese "special attack units" from that war and has no specific story. The duology of "The Apocalypse" and "Under the Red Sky" clearly have a specific story - the bombing of Hiroshima. Moreover, those two songs are musically linked as they're the only song where Midori uses a slide.
This song is an epic masterpiece. For another masterpiece by this band, check out "Edge of the World" LIVE : ua-cam.com/video/UZjxMjBop7w/v-deo.html

A Lovebites masterpiece!❤
A Frozen Serenade is an artwork made of heavy metal.
Top 3 Lovebites song for sure. The second half just totally blows your mind. One of the all time most epic metal songs.
A frozen serenade is mixed classic, jazz, groove and metal
LOVEBITES - A Frozen Serenade lyrics:
Crystal tears Falling from the skies
Veiling fears The emptiness inside
Time is just passing by
Killing me under the soft twilight
A frozen melody
Of doves and ravens dancing in melancholy
A distant memory
If only this snow could erase the pain
I'd wake up in a serenade
One life ends
And one life begins
Evanesce
To our origins
When I'm lost on my way
Lead my heart and guide me with your grace
A frozen melody
Of doves and ravens dancing in melancholy
A distant memory
If only this snow could erase the pain
I'd wake up in a serenade
Just like a dream, just like a bird
I'll keep on singing out
Even if my voice cannot reach you
Seasons may pass, but its beauty will never fade away
All living things are precious and irreplaceable
Just like a dream, just like a bird
I'll keep on singing out
Even if my voice cannot reach you
White butterflies are fluttering under the silver sky
If only I could wish to see you once more

This song about the nuclear winter follows the trilogy on the II WW: Above the black sea, Apocalypse and Under the red sky. Thank You!
