"Abandoned" was one of the first tracks I wrote when I began writing the album, and also one of few to stick around. Originally it started out as a cinematic piece for licensing, however, as the track progressed I liked it so much that I turned it into a full song.

This type if music, how can I explain, I, a simple mortal.. It simply sends me to a different life, it makes me thoughtfull, it makes me realize I’m 23, almost 24 and, despite the fact I still haven’t realized much, somehow, I feel at peace, I feel lucky, I feel that I should definitely appreciate this gift I’ve been given, the LIFE.. That it’s 1st of June, I’m alive, healthy, that I have a job, though no man loves me as deep as I do or as I want, but I think that I should be proud.
Update on 29.01.2021: One year later, I'm here, listening to it again, realizing my best friend saddly suicided back on 29.12.2019, it's been a year without him and STILL, I just can't understand and accept that he's no longer physically with me, everyday, as we used to be.. How can love destroy someone this much, to the point where the person suicides to escape and punish the person..

I have fond memories of sitting in my apartment alone with COVID last month, after my roommates all left for the summer, relaxing and watching the world drift by. I'll always remember that when I hear this song. Amazing stuff.
