I'm still going through with my trauma from during the toxic relationship I had till after me and the guy broke up its been 5 years but like you said if the one you are with really cares and loves you, he/she will accept you and help you get through this trauma,I have to deal with my own and my current boyfriend's trauma. But only time will tel if its worth it.
