This is the first gun I ever bought IRL about 11 years ago. Looking back I wish I had bought a subcompact version. The full size fully loaded is impractical as hell for anything except going to the range.
The fact that the CZ-75 was made under Communist rule meant that the design had no copyright, and a lot of companies copied the design. The IWI Jericho (AKA, the Baby Desert Eagle) is one notable example. The CZ P-09 variant is also possibly the highest standard capacity 9mm handgun with a 19+1 capacity.
Ehhhhhh sorta. That's with the extended mag that comes with it. The standard magazine for concealment is 13+1. The P-09 is a full sized gun who's standard mag is 19+1.
@@BeefMeisterSupreme I know. It wasn't what I was poking fun at. "is CZ", "is EZ" and "is easy" all have similar pronunciations, so why not go with the first one as it has the weapon's name?
It's a shame how poor the Pistol balancing was in BO1, with only viable ones being the Python for double taps, or CZ75 being a straight upgrade from M1911/ASP/Makarov. If they remastered this I would hope for each pistol to have a more defined primary trait. ASP - Handling (All stats sub-par, but fastest to switch to/ADS) Makarov - Accuracy (Lowest recoil) M1911 - CQC (High damage at close range/slowest semi-auto RoF) Python - Damage (Highest damage/range) CZ75 - Capacity (Highest ammo supply, worst handling of 9mm's)
Claytor Yurnero 1. The ASP already had the advantage with its fastest fire rate. 2. The Makoravs had a small advantage: They were the fastest dual pistols to switch to. 3. In the scenario you outlined, the Python and CZ75 I think would still be the best, and I think the Python would be by far the best.
I kinda prefer if the 1911 has the fastest DPS in CQ and no suppressor penalty balanced by its already low capacity and harsher dmg loss at range (beaten by the Python)
Amazing series Stu, it's sad to see that the final episode is coming so soon. I've always been interested in the behind the scenes work that goes into making one of these episodes. I was wondering if you would ever consider creating a channel called something like TutorialAhoy where you post tutorials in the programs used to make the visuals of this series. I'm sure that many of us could make use of your tutorials but I also completely understand if you'd like to keep your secrets to yourself.
The entire CZ lineup uses a modified Browning lockup, and their great pistols, not ammo sensitive, they just work, and they can take some serious abuse. I want one, don't own one yet, but it's definitely on "must own" list.
Wait, 625 RPM is 10.4 rounds per second. I don't care how much you like this game, there's no way you can press the fire button over 10 times in a second.
jonathan espindola No, with full auto your rate of fire is capped at 525 RPM. 625 RPM is for semi auto. I don't see how you could pull the fire button that fast either. Maybe if your using a modded controller or something with rappid fire, but that is lame.
PeugeotRocket also Ahoy probably got this info on call of duty wikia and they probably got it wrong Ahoy was also powerhousing these videos so he didn't care
The AK74u is by far the best SMG in almost every single way. The FAMAS and AUG are statistically very similar to each other, and dominate most to all of the other ARs. The Enfield, for example, is the same as the AUG except rate of fire is way slower and yet recoil also resets slower.
***** The 74u is literally the MP5k with less recoil and better range. The spectre does less damage per bullet and has higher recoil. The FAMAS is more debatable post patch, but the AUG is essentially the FAMAS pre-patch with more centered recoil.
***** I think you mean that the Enfield has a faster ADS than the Famas. The AUG did not suffer the ADS nerf the FAMAS had post-patch. The Skorpion does kill at VERY close range, it is true, but this damage very rapidly falls off. Its tiny mag certainly does not help. It is only extremely marginally better than the 74u at close range, and is dominated at mid-long range by almost any other gun.
Dual Wielding with this weapon somewhat hinders your combat abilities; getting the Double Trouble Achievement/Trophy in the Campaign was a major pain in the ass, especially with this pistol.
I'm not ashamed to admit this, when I turned 21 the first handgun I bought was a CZ75 because I absolutely loved using it in Black Ops 1. Funnily enough it's an old school Made in Czechoslovakia marked one that's basically a twin to the in-game gun.
The inverted magazine on full auto is NOT a makeshift foregrip >:c They don't use it as one, nor should you IRL because you might break the damn thing :l
fun fact: In this exact game, in the mission 7 numbers, in campaign, you (Jason Hudson) start off with a dual wield CZ 75 with 20 rounds. While i first tried to shoot the crooks from a distance, later on i learned to throw a grenade towards them and then shoot the ones who came near the table. I first found it frustrating, but then i found it to be fun
The attachment has a slower fire rate penalty in terms of status then the semi automatic default. 625 RPM - Semi 525 RPM - Full Auto Upgrade. Only use the attachment if you're sluggish with tapping the fire button.
... I hate to correct so many, but that's not a pun. A pun is a joke exploiting the different possible meanings of a word or the fact that there are words that sound alike but have different meanings. Stu rhymed a couple words and it turned out brilliantly. Hats off to you, good sir.
I use sidearms in black ops as a finisher, so I preferably go for full-auto, because the reduced damaged doesn't affect so much as the target will be already weakened
finally, the almighty CZ-75, which you've mentioned in pretty much every single BLOPS weapon review, i hate BLOPS, i just watch these videos because he is such a reviewer and his british accent is amazing!
well i have both bf3 and mw3 and honestly i really like the fact that there are no bullet drop or reach time, if cod does do that then there really isnt that much point to play it considering bf3 has a tdm mode aswell
'Czech out this wonder gun'. Hah. I saw what you did there. Because of you, I've stuck with the CZ-75 as my secondary. It's save my skin more than any other pistol.
Another high caliber briefing on the guns that kill your enemies or you. I can say that the almighty CZ has been my damnation a few times. Keep up the good work on all your videos. also, what are your favorite sweets?
Most forms of body armor (ex. bullet proof vests) will stop a .357 round no problem. Of course, the level of the armor makes a huge difference; the .357 will punch straight through soft armor, but then again so will the .45 acp. Modern armor is designed to absorb and disperse a bullet's impact; they'll even catch an FMJ round. The only reason a .357 can travel through engine blocks is because of its high muzzle velocity, and because the engine is rigid (absorbs very little impact).
I'm not sure what it is, But the upgraded iron sights actually make me a better shot. I guess they help me find the center easier? 12 rounds is enough, but i can never seem to aim while spraying without a little white dot telling me the centerpoint.
Hey Stuart, I love your videos, keep it up! Also, you've mentioned before how repetitive going over the attachments gets. Have you ever considered doing one video that covers all the attachments that you could simply link to so you wouldn't have to repeat yourself?
One thing about this gun that many people haven't noticed is that it is the fast to switch when using akimbo. If you try out the ASP or the M1911 with akimbo, you'll notice how slow they are to switch to, the CZ on the other hand fixes this and is overall much better.
Hey Stu, I always thought all the pistols sucked, and the cz75 was no exception, but when I prestiged and bought it again after your review I began loving so much after replacing my beloved python. Thanks, from a huge fan and pc gamer
What are your thoughts on other people doing weapon guide series on UA-cam that try to emulate the same quality of videos that you produce? It's certainly easy to argue that you set the standard when it comes to creating weapon guides on UA-cam for COD. Where do you draw the line between acceptable emulation and unacceptable copying?
Hey Stu, I know you have already received plenty of requests for CoD4 or WaW guides, but I had a suggestion: How about making a Top 5 or 10 weapons of each game, or, alternatively, make short videos (~90 seconds or someting like that) of each weapon, something like "this gun is best with Y attachment and A,B, and C perks".
stu have you ever considered warning in your guides to possibly stay away from certain weapons like the m14 or fal if your connection is not favorable?
It's just the mag capacity. Why do you think the US military replaced the 1911 with the 92 (M9)? Both the 9mm and .45 ACP are great cartridges, but it's about the gun that houses and shoots them. I'll like to put it this way: Would you rather engage an OpFor with 3-4 out of 7 rounds in a second, or would you have 5 out of 18 rounds and still have enough for another OpFor or two (if the game dictates). Both are effective, but which do you think is the most efficient?
Hey stu, if you were going to design a weapon, what would you make it's one distinct feature? Like how the AN-94 fires a two round burst at such high speeds that the bullets go through the same hole, or the Kel-tec KSG has two tube magazines or the Gibralter Arms 1612 has four tube magazines.
Stuart, would you be opposed to the developers of Call of Duty changing the physics of the multiplayer portion of the game to incorporate things like bullet drop (the downward gravitational pull on the bullet over distance) or having wind speed effect long range shots, in the same manner that it does in the latest Battlefield installments? Do you prefer Call of Duty to ignore these realistic elements, or do you think it would improve the multiplayer experience to incorporate a bit more realism?
One thing this guide doesn't tell you is that putting any attachment on the CZ-75 will slow down it's swap speed. It also has one of the worst sprint-out times, especially if you use Dual Wield.
Ahoy stu! 1. Is there any books you can read again and again without getting sick of? 2. Same as above but for films 3. What is the strangest thing you own? 4. What is your favorite place to go out and eat?

As he mentions in the video, the fire-cap for the regular pistol is 625 RPM, while the fire-rate for the full-auto upgrade is 545 RPM. So, as long as your trigger finger is fast enough, you'll shoot faster with the semi-auto version as opposed to the full-auto version.
