If you can, try to see what weapons will stay "normal", like plasma emitters, adapters, assembler, median, revolvers, etc... If everything gonna use ammo, they will need a special rarity ammo box or even a legendary to help around with ammo. Maybe they will use it as an excuse for a ammo gathering cabin from wrecks or something related to ammo.
I'm happy cannons are getting buffed(both directly and indirectly). for the longest time they were the only weapon that had to deal with almost every limiting factor with: ammo, lots of inaccuracy, slow projectile, projectile flight path, large and easy to hit, slow rotation or limited firing arc, and slow reload.
As a person who has to deal with Australian internet (240 ping is as low as it gets), I’d be alright with all of the changes except for hitscan. I played shotguns and MGs more than I played any other weapons simply because I could actually be competitive with them. It’s sad that they’re removing hitscan now, but I guess it is what it is
I am sorry to hear that. I am a bit biased due to little to no ping on NA servers. JB rider released a video yesterday that gave me hope for high ping players as he has higher ping and seemed ok.
Same thing happened with raijin. "Nerfed" the raijin but also nerfed structural parts in the same update which made the raijin even better. Next Raijin nerf, up it's power score by 200 but also up its base damage. They love hiding buffs as "nerfs". As if 200 power score will even effect it. When it's still just as good as the Kaiju but 1800 less power score.
@The-Mighty-Orange up, I way prefer better accuracy over hitscan. Leading targets is not difficult, and i very much enjoy my thyrsus over the equalizer.
It's not really... The MG13, for example, will have 600 ammo, which is nothing, if you keep in mind that you need to constantly keep firing to keep the perk active... :\

I feel like they could really increase the overall durability on structure parts. It’d be interesting to see slightly stronger stuff and more tactical extended gameplay to take down eachothers builds. Could be cause I run dps builds all the time but these penetration they are adding sounds crazy
I was gonna mention Median and Emilys for the no ammo before reason. Love both weapons and if they are still unlimited they will make huge bounces back into contention.
oh btw shock if you edit your garage and move the 100m 200m and 300m markers around they have this highlighted box thing (so you can line them up) just put the 200m marker with the startb at your garage door and then start the 300m marker at the end of the 200m marker your 300m sign is now your 500m sign
Not really? I tried out placing explosives on a build without any previously (there was no gen) and played exactly the same as if I didn't have explosives.

Not gaga over this update Having to rebuild every single one of my builds again is a bitch. And then there is this crap with having to give up space and extra weight for the ammochange. The reason given for this is like Kamala trying to explain why she havent fixed the border. Just a blatant lie. And we are not getting compensated for it either. They could for instance have given us extra parts to build with. Like 100 parts instead of just 80. Then there is the thing where all machineguns now becoming autocanons with crazy ranges. Somehow i think its not going to pan out and before x-mas they will have to slap our faces with even more changes just to correct all consequences this will bring.. The result once again will be me playing less crossout and keeping less rides saved. They keep this up and i will be down to only 3-4 rides playing only patrol
They need to lower the powerscore of ammo boxes. How tf am i supposed to fit 2 blue ammo boxes onto my min/maxed 9k without taking off like a quarter of the armor.
It's not a 60% added penetration ability they only have 60% all weapons before that didn't have an ability on penetration was at 100 % now they r all lower. Meaning once the bullet does 60% of its damage or more the bullet expires or times out. Damaged buff only because of the range increase making it higher damage over longer distances. All mgs and shit guns r Nerfed. Don't understand watch UA-camr cardboard ninja on crossout and the sniper shotguns are remaining at 100%

Hmmmm I don't know. I think machineguns will be way too good now. Seeing that range and accuracy on those is scary to me. I am going to be click fired from miles while running cannonbuilds and be stripped on distance like no tomorrow. I don't like where this is going
making parsers no longer hitscan is a huge nerf! they are entirely front-loaded damage. Now by adding bullet distance your changes of missing are even higher while they are just as easy to strip as always. You are getting punished for making use of their range. may as well just use niddhogs now

Pretty much everything in game has mandatory hardware. Energy boosters, melee boosters, reload module, and radiators all exist for each weapon type. Why do Canon have to be the only one with the disadvantage of having ammo? That's my hot take.
@@ShockRadioGaming Indeed you are right in that argument, however 40 shots for the destructor is to low for example. They need to adjust they're base ammo for each weapon. One thing is for sure... theres going to be a LOT more people investhing in blast damage, fire and "straight to" weapons (like Scorpion and Morta).

reload on medians is so fucking slow it could have a hidden ammo counter and nobody woulda managed to reach it in a 5 min match

Just tried some top Levi drivers with my new imp Levi and absolutely destroyed them, imagine it with less spread

The penetrative change is a nerf. Hit scan currently is 100% penetration. I just tested it in the garage.

Are you sure about that? The devs themselves have mentioned that the penetration mechanic doesnt work with hitscan

So destructor went from 1350 heated max to 1082 😢
