Yeah, no Rice, Odegaard, Merino, possibly Calariori is huge for Spurs, Atalanta, and City. Jesus isn't fit, and us having to drop Havertz back to LCM isn't great. Teams are probably rubbing their hands with glee.

I think he goes LB, put Timber into CDM with Partey and have Jorginho pulling the strings. Zinny could be a sub for any of those in midfield. Personally I think Trossard starts over Martinelli, Saka and Havertz also start up front. Stirling will be that super sub
I can't see us playing Timber, Partey and Jorginho together in midfield. It lacks creativity, which is where I see either Trossard, Havertz being used in Odegaards role.

Even when a player is reported injured by their club, they must report for international duties. Its the team doctors to assess them and declare them fit or not.
Completely agree!! We play zinny as the left 8, thats how we fix it! We play zinny, partey and havertz in midfield.
We need havertz in there for his mobility and physicality plus he is experienced in the left 8 role. Partey is a no brainer.
Imo the best option as the right 8 is zinny because he has the technique to hold the ball and be the passing hub plus he is left footed which allows space for rice to overlap. We will then keep the structure of the team. Also he is experienced and had game intelligence. Zinny is an obvious choice for me. Ill say it like this, if he doesnt play zinny in midfield now, it will never happend!

Arsenal were very fortunate last year when many other teams had horrendous injuries and they had none or very few. These things tend to equal out over time. I don’t feel sorry for them… COYS!😂

Depending on which stat you choose to look at, the Arsenal squad had 2 - 4 times less days missed due to injuries than the teams mentioned above. Remember that the single long term injury on Timber skews the stats in Arsenal favour, making it look even closer than it actually was. Arsenal was spared last year, but like I said these things tend to even out over time.
