Are you good or bad at puzzles? 👍👎
Bombastic not that good, find it frustrating sometimes but still enjoy it overall
Not first check
There's an easier way: throw a lantern into the magnetic field in the side with the panel where you activate it (near where you fasten the ball).
I'm ok but this one took me a long time
Ok it took me like an hour or 2
Man when I played through the entire game without looking up any guide felt so good.
Yeah I didnt either lol
Same.
same dude, first game that i played by myself
Bros same. The only thing I looked up was where the databank locations were cause good lord I couldn’t find some of them
Its not that hard. Because i am only playing it for like 2 days and i am at 67%
This one was so frustrating but after running around for a solid hour trying to figure it out I activated a different gravity wall to try to figure it out and was like... wait
Derek Eddo The exact same thing happened to me
It took me five hours to figure this out.
My ancestors would be ashamed
Same except i used force slow in it before it hit the floor and managed to grab it again felt so satisfying
@@jacobsanchez4694 I went to the other wall Opposite the climbable one and activated the magnet so the lanterns would come out Then I dropped down Went close to the wall so I was able to force pull the lanterns down then put the lantern onto the block jump down onto the block And then pick it up and throw it at the vine
I was stuck on that puzzle for 7 hours, and it was so rewarding when I finally got past it
Me too mate .... me too ...
It took me a while to figure out, but eventually I did it the way Cinemetic Captures did it. I have completed all puzzles in the game and I loved them all. They did a very good job on making the puzzles.
I threw them over the pit froze it jumped over caught it and hit the vine
that's exactly what I did haha
Aye me 2 thought that was the fastest way to do it
I never tried that.
Me too
I did also like that
This is exactly the reason love this game so much.
I've already beaten the game several timed on all the difficulties and each time I've replayed it its felt like a completely different experience. I just love it so much!
I didn't realize you had to toss into the magnet, it took me 20 minutes before I figured it out
I just got lucky and turn in the magnets and just was trying to toss the lantern over and the magnet grabbed it I was like oohhhhhh.
glad I'm not the only one who fell victim to this annoying puzzle
The first i heard the "Warning! this contains spoilers for Jedi Fallen Order" i was like: "Blast it!" :-( But i will soon get the game so im very excited! :-)
Definitely worth it finished it yesterday frustrating in some places but so fun
The problem I had with this puzzle was not realizing i needed to burn the vines to drop the lantern
The actual part of trying to get the fire over there took me about a minute
I’m stupid just in a different way
P.S I solved it by using the force energy wall thing
Omg same here, my screen was too dark, and i didnt even realize there were vines there
I did the same way
lol I just threw the lantern over the gap, froze it, then jumped the gap and pulled it back and boom it’s done 😂
Me too
First try
1 Minute
In my opinion, there is a correct way with the force wall, the other methods described (I think) are unforseen world design and mechanics workarrounds, you should not be able to force pull a lantern from that hight or take it all the way to other room, and force stoping it in midle air is just luck between force use animations and physics
You have to use the gravity wall
watch the whole video
Yea I didnt realize that he goes over all of the options on the vid lol
Why would you even comment before watching the whole thing? Lol
I spent 2 hours on this puzzle!
I came to a similar but even more convoluted solution than your friend did:
Pull the cable, plug it in
Push the big block in and climb
Turn right, go past the deactivated(?) temple guardian and rat
Scale the wall on your right, BUT THEN turn around and jump across to the OTHER gravity thingy with the lanterns, drop one as close as you can to the edge
Jump back down, aim up, Pull the lantern down to you, walk it to the exit BUT don't risk dropping it onto the block that you pushed in step 2, just lean out the opening directly above that block and throw the lantern at the vines from there.
I knew that it couldn't possibly be the solution, but I had no idea what clue I was missing.
After completing it though, I looked up the "proper" solution and I felt like a fool for not realizing I had to use that gravity thing
It never occurred to me to Force Freeze it, that blows my mind and I really want to try all the puzzles again sometime using all my Force powers as much as I can
Awesome video!
This is crazy I’m so happy I’m not the only one! I spent two and a half hours trying to figure this out and I ended up over exerting my noggin. I finally solved it by slowing down the ball before it lands on the wet floor.
At first, i did struggle very much with this puzzle, but after some time i did manage to solve the puzzle with the second solution showed in this video.
This was the only puzzle i needed help with
It took me about 40 minutes to solve this riddle and now that I watched this video, I realized I did this super complicate gosh 😂
Haven’t even got the game
Why am I here?
God of Thunder you need to get it it’s great
Because it’s a badass game
This was the only part of the game that I needed to look up an answer for
Oh man, I was stuck on that same puzzle for an hour. It was stressful and confusing. I'm usually great at puzzles but that one stumped me.
Now I just realized I did the puzzle wrong. I took the lantern, threw it up into the air, and grabbed it with force pull before it touched the ground. It took me a while but I did it.
We are some galaxy brains here.
Pulled it to the water, froze it in mid air and used the best force push possible that time to get it through
Took me a few hours my first time too. I pulled an orb from that wall and managed to push it onto the pipe on the far wall on the other side, and was lucky enough it didn't fall down, then i hopped to the other side, pulled it and pushed it into the vines. I still can't figure out how to clear out those other vines blocking off the chests and echos though.
I instantly figured it and solved it like Cinematic Captures done
With this puzzle I did the hard way( which I thought was the right solution), I went around the entire place and took me about 3 hours of hard thinking to complete the puzzle. I finished the puzzle exactually at my bedtime and felt good.
I LITERALLY SPENT A DAY ON THAT PUZZLE I SMASHED MY CONTROLLER

While a puzzle can have multiple solutions, sometimes the easy method is the correct & intended method.
If we take this to be a maths problem with multiple solutions, the difference between a high preforming student and a mid - lower preforming student is recognizing shortcuts that use mathematical theories and techniques to get the solution quicker. The question may only be valued at 2 marks but sometimes you see students write a correct response that has the length of a 4 or higher mark question. They would still get full marks provided the working is sound and they got the correct answer, but that is a lot of unneeded effort placed into the solution. Questions involving Calculus are good examples of this. Where you could solve it quickly using something like the chain rule or you could expand and then differentiate each individual term.
I figured to use the gravity well and the wall after about 10 minutes. But this puzzle was like a maths question - although there is a most efficient way that is the "correct method", there are multiple ways to get it right.
You could drop one of the fire capsules down from the bridge next to the puzzle area (the one required to remove vines from around a chest).
I threw the candle upwards, jumped down to the lower platform, looked over the edge as it was falling down to the level below that, and caught it with force pull. I don’t know why I didn’t consider using the force slow.
I did it the same way you did it, except that I grabbed the lanterns from that long bridge behind that climbing wall.
Thank u so much
The first time I played through the puzzle, I also found a way to do it not normally. So I'm here to play it again and its been patched. So I needed this video
I took a lantern and threw it in the doorway way forward to the character of you are on the top left platform and i felt really good about it because it took a lot of precision and accuracy to pull off
I solved it the same way cinematic captures solved it. I felt so accomplished when I figured it out. Took me like 20 minutes
I also really struggled with this puzzle. Its the only one that took me more than a few minutes to solve.
My solution was very long and arbitrary, so much so that I knew it couldn't be the intended way haha.
Here it is:
1. Get up on the high platform (with the ball in the down position).
2. Force pull a lantern towards you and place it on top of the balls cage.
3. Jump down to the ground and turn on the gravity switch.
4. Pull the lantern down towards you and place it in the gravity field.
5. Move the ball into the up position.
6. Grab the lantern and light the fire.
So yeah thats how I did it lol
This one had me stuck for hours
That was cool but you could also angle the lantern so that the metal blocks the water and throw it right through
After a solid probably hour of me trying to figure it out and two hour break I found that you can carry one of the flames and walk backwards off the wall you climb to get to that side and then catch it before it fell to the ground
I jumped to the wall of lanterns, lifted one and took it over to the edge of the platform, froze it, jumped to the other side before the slowdown ended, then picked it back up and force pushed it.
All these different out of this world solutions, and here I am having just thrown a bunch of lanterns at the water until one went through. BD even gives you the hint that if the water hits the top or bottom of the lantern, the metal sections, it stays lit.
It took me like an hour to finish that puzzle!
I kind of wish the game did a legend of zelda solving secret sound effect to add some reward to solving the puzzle. I mean, you spent an hour trying to solve a difficult puzzle and deserve some reward for solving it.
I had trouble with the same puzzle, but I actually used another way. I through it all the way across onto this massive unburnable vine on the wall, then I went over and picked it back up to burn the vines
It took me 30 minutes to solve this damn puzzle. I did it by throwing the lantern into that blue energy thing. When I figured that out I felt so silly because in another room at shows the lanterns being trapped in this blue field.
Thankfully, the other puzzles were enjoyable for me and not as frustrating.
This might be a couple years late, but @ 3:42 there's a ledge you need to jump across to activate another magnet which can also give you lanterns a little bit easier but the rest was the same as your first method. 😅
I used the pull to hold the lamp and threw it then I used the force to slow its fall before it got wet then I ran and pulled it again then i thew it in the dry side
The solution to this puzzle was my first idea but it was a bit finicky to do
I found that what I suck at is aiming through this puzzle as well as others in this room and temple
I really want to try another method of solving this... I think if you force slow the ball, you could do it a lot faster and easier.
While I guess whether or not it is the "right" way is debatable I'm pretty positive that it's the intended way since there is no other reason to have that gravity button there. It doesn't do anything else besides move the cube thing and moving the cube thing away from the wall doesn't help you in any way.
I didn’t find it that difficult but I guess I’m really bad at the combat so we’re all good and bad at different things I guess
Same I have it on story mode because I was dying so much in Knight mode but this puzzle took me about 20 seconds to figure out and probably a minute or two to execute.
Took me a solid hour to do 😂
I liked this a lot. Very creative way to solve this, it took me a while too, I just got frustrated and threw it through the water I think it bugged out cause it worked?
What got me on this one was that I managed to glitch a lantern through a water wall and then thought that I had to throw it a certain way.
Listen here
I spent an hour on that. Knowing what to do but not being able to. Then i solved it 🤷♂️
I just desperately tried everything, *including to let go of the grab, freezing the lamp mid air right afterwards and giving it a full power force push, right through the water* coming down
I wrote this before watching the video
I actually went to that area where u get this mantis coloring behind that big statue and didn't figure it, so i did the main puzzle first. When I finally managed that, i did the same trick on the optional thing, works. But u need an upgrade to the normal push i think
It took me soo long. I threw it up really high, jumped to the other side and caught it before it hit the ground.
I did the same. It made me feel like I invented a sport 🤣
I just took a lantern, dropped it without throwing it off a small ledge, froze it, jumped down, and grabbed it, took me like a good 13 minutes
What I did was bring the lantern with Force Pull, let it drop, Force Slow, jump down, and then use Force Pull to bring the lantern with me
Lego star wars has taught me puzzles
Completed the game but still watching the videos
i just threw it high up in the air and jumped behind the water then caught it mid air, it was tricky because sometimes i'd be too slow and the lantern would just fall in the water
forgot i had force slow so yeah, it was fun
I was so confused on this I was on this for like three weeks
I did it a different way
Turn on that button thing
Get to the other side
Pick up a lantern and throw it towards the blue wall thing
Then throw the lantern at the vine when close
I did it a different way!
I used the magnet that pulled the block over to use the lantern
This puzzle took me about 1 hour. I was over thinking it lol
I wasted some time in this one, but I used the force slow technique and it all worked out
I'm pretty sure there should have been the same type of vines stopping you from climbing that wall. Not sure how those got torched first, other than a lucky throw from your friend from the puzzle room?
Hey Andrew ever thought of making a video with star wars explained. Because you two alongside with hellogreedo are my favourite star wars channels on UA-cam and I would love to see a video of you together
I did the force slow method
I literally just carried a lantern from the side of the room with the lanterns to the other. You would think the small gap on the side of the room would stop you from doing that without sprinting off jumping, but I just walked over it.
It was easy 💪
That's why you don't be rush to try finish the game quickly❗
Just look around & use your head & take your time to enjoy, just …
Trust only in the force…
I took a small lantern, smashed it against a wall so it went up vertically, jumped to the other side as quick as I could and catched the lantern before it fell to the ground. I couldn't figure out another way of doing it. It took me 20 minutes.
You can also take it from the wall force push it then freezes it jump across and grab it again
Maybe I play more puzzle games but I got this in 5 minutes.
it took me 2hrs. like holy
I just threw the lantern at the vines through the waterfall and it worked... I didnt have to do anything else
Just letting u know, I didn’t get notifications for this video, but I found it so yeah
Damn... yeah it took me like ten minutes. I was confused but then realized "Ooohhhh magnet wall. Huh."
I didn't uelse any of those I dropped it onto the rock edge on the raised platform and it took me hours to solve it!
Took me sooo long, had no idea what the hell to do. Ran around the whole map for about 2 hours or so. Until i realized that there were vines on the chains. After that it took me like 5 minutes to realize i could force push it into the force stream
I did the force slow version
What I did was kind of annoying actually, I threw a lantern at the ceiling from up on the platform, ran down onto the bottom platform and caught the lantern midair, before it hit the water. It took like 10 minutes to get it. (Also I should say, I didn’t use the gravity suspender, I was too stupid to realize that was easier)
i did the same thing as bombastic but i got my lantern across from where you climb up and not from the puzzle room
I had to watch someone’s video to figure it out. I actually solved it differently than you did.
I threw the lantern into the vines which caught it like a basket. Then pulled it out of the vines and threw it at the chain
I did it this exact way 😂
I just pushed the lantern on top the tree branch next to the vine
I was so close to giving up and watching this video, but after your last warning at around 1:15 I decided to give it one last try, I then solved it within seconds of tabbing back into the game lol. wtf.
I didn't solve it exactly the same way you did now that I watch it.
I honestly just threw mine on the other side of the waterfall high in the air, jumped over and grabbed it before it fell down
I played catch to get it. I got the ball tossed it in the air, jumped across the cavern, and caught it on the other side before it hit the ground.
I didn't slow it either, I just timed it right. It was a pain.
When he said “the casing can be used to our advantage” I really thought the game was bugged and the casing was meant to cover the lantern from the water. I tried force pushing the lanterns super high and catching them on the other side. When I pressed the button for the walls I facepalmed so damn hard
ya that has got to be the most misleading hint in the game for these puzzles
If you angle the lantern so that the metal casing is vertical it blocks the water
@@thest0kie247 ive tried that didnt. work.
@@callmecart9925 uhhh no. its misleading. he says he can use the casing to stop the water from dousing it. ive tried thta multiple times and it never worked.
The issue is the question before the answer I think. Had the question been “how can we get the candles around the water?” rather than “how can we stop the candles from getting doused?”, then the answer “we can use their metal casing to our advantage” wouldn’t make you think “casing covers flame from water”
I ended up spending an hour or two not knowing what to do, and then gave into the dark side and looked up a tutorial of how to complete it
Where do I get the magnet skill? I don't even have that one
My game just glitched and I ended up throwing it through the waterfall and it worked
I solved it by going to where the lanterns are and continuously throwing them tell they don’t get extinguished
I just pulled one of those fire things off the wall. Force pushed it on the other side Froze it so it wouldn't fall then force pulled it to me and there you go easy lol.
Ummm how do you get the double bladed lightsaver can you do a vid on that
There is 3 ways, one on dathomire going through the nightbrother bastion at the end you get to a bridge area with the wanderer, there is a pathway on the bottom there where you can get it.
Another on bogano in the abondoned workshop, you need the force push to get in tho at the bottom of the great devide area.
And a third SPOILER AHEAD
on kashyyyk when you go there for a second time at the end of the climb to the top of the tree, there the game forces you to get it and you can't not get it there.
It's so easy once you figure it out
I was where the lanterns were on the wall and I grabbed one and pushed it on the tree branch on the wall where u enter and it just sat on top for me to jump down and grab it again and break the vines
