My mother passed away when I was 15 years old. I am the oldest out of 10, my mom had with my father. When she died my father abandoned us and left us to the wolves. My siblings and I suffered sexual, mental physical abuse from my mother side of the family. My mother was our protector and provider. She loved us so much! I don't understand how people mistreat their parents. Try growing up without a loving mother and you will realizes how hard life is without them in it. Everyday I miss my mother and I wish she was here today. You never truly get over the loss. I'm in my early 50's I still cry for my mother. I pray this woman finds a place to call home 🙏🏿

My mom stayed in a hotel because she didn’t want to stay with my sister because her man wasn’t welcome there. When my mom decided to leave him alone she came to live with me. So I can understand why she’s don’t live with her children.
She lose everything burying her husband of 32 years? The only reason I can think of that happening is she was completely reliant on him and basically helpless when he passed away...I tell my wife all the time about things she needs to know and do if I'm not around but I know she's not really listening...
It also depends on several things, if she makes a comparable salary. If they paid housing and bills together, or if she worked at all. If a wife doesn't work or makes a lot less money than her husband, than maintaining the same lifestyle become extremely difficult.
I tell mine all the time. If something happens to me she's pretty much done. It's like pulling teeth trying to teach her to be financially responsible and financial planning.

I think a lot of people are forgetting she lost her child in 97 then her husband 2018. You don’t know what type of depression she could have been dealing with between the time of losing her son and her husband getting sick to prepare for his death.
My father was a vet from the Vietnam/Korea war , and my mom didn't get his benefits because he died 1 day before his benefits would kick in for spouse ... 😭They did bury him but to cover his bills were hard because me and mom quit working to take care of him ...he told us he has stage 4 prostate cancer very late it has spread to his brain 🥺prayers to her because other people not in the situation will never know!

It’s taking way to long can’t afford extended stays at motels when all you got is Disability check so I get a room for 1 week and the rest of the month I sleep in my car . My mother died in Syracuse New York on a trip visiting her brother of deep vein thrombosis it was myself my husband and her we drove there from Georgia she never got a chance to see her brother she died outside the facility rosewood rehabilitation and was transported to South Crouse memorial hospital. 😢
Where are her kids? A woman with that many kids should be rich at least in wellness. I know of a mother who had many children and she would do her rounds every couple of weeks at another of their homes.
I've worked in homeless centers before, and sometimes people can be judgemental. Shelters are just as dangerous as sleeping on the streets. I pray that God gives her favor.
In my state only if you get insurance with the VA the first 2 years after you get out will they pay for funeral they will only bury you in military plot if you don't have that type of insurance they won't pay for the funeral expenses at all

Only if he retired and if he selected SBP ( spousal benefit program) for her.. once she is SS drawing age she can submit to receive his if higher than hers.
