so sad that Richard Brooker is not with us, he was extremely funny and so are the other actors who did Jason. imagine a comedy show with all the Jason actors, their chemistry is like brothers they all are witty and bounce jokes off each other.
Christopher Rankin You mean funny like he’s a clown? He amuses you? He makes you laugh? He’s here to fucking amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how?
@@christopherrankin4769I "I almost had him, I almost had him. Ya stuttering prick ya. Frankie, was he shaking? I wonder about you sometimes, Henry. You may fold under questioning." And Henry did fold, just like Sheriff Garris in part 6... Tommys and Jasons dont usually mix.... Think Friday the 13th, or Power Rangers...
Why? I’m not picking or trolling...but I’ve never heard anyone say that before, Every time I see it all I can think of is the town that dreaded sundown.
Jason was played by 2 actors...Steve Dash did the heavy work, Gilette Warrington was the "pretty face" at the end...as much as horror films in the '80's were low budget, the money was spent well!
You can sense that Steve Dash regrets not being in the more popular Jason films. Especially being that he had to interrupt Kane and CJ during most of the interview.
More popular is perhaps a bad way of phrasing it, given that Part II is usually regarded as being one of the better films in the series and a firm fan favourite. It'd be more true to say that he might regret not being in the more 'iconic' films of the franchise, what with the hockey mask later being introduced.
Steve was a cool dude, funny too. He said that he was asked to be in Part 3 but Paramount refused to buy him a plane ticket to California so he decided to not do Part 3.
They all did a great job playing Jason. Each brought a different version which was scary in their own right. Friday the 13th in my opinion is the best slasher movies ever!!! 👍🇨🇦
I saw him a month ago too. He also didn't seem happy to be there, so I ask him why he even come to my house. He just shook his head and walked into my room and hid somewhere.
Their chemistry is hilarious. All I would have to say to put Part 2 Jason in his place is at least I never got kicked in the nuts by the final girl! Amy Steel Rules!
Actually, Don Rickles dd not play Jason in any of the Friday the 13th films. The actors/stuntmen who have played Jason are as follows: Ari Lehman, Warrington Gillette, Sam Dash, Richard Brooker, Ted White, Tom Morga, C.J. Graham, Kane Hodder, Tim Mirkovich, Ken Kirzinger, and Derek Mears.
Steve Dash is on his last legs for being "the feet" of Jason in Part 2, oh and "the bag man"...the beginning of it all!!!!!!!! Sorry you were only credited as a stunt man!
I remember the director Ronny Yu publicly stating in many interviews that he didn't want Kane as Jason because Kane didn't fit his 'vision' of Jason for 'HIS' film, it's kind of disconcerting that a lot of the fans of the franchise seemed to have missed this critical piece of information regarding the matter, it seems only a few people seem to remember this important piece of information, and the rest that did have all but buried it.
I will also add that I loved Kane as 'Jason' in all of the films he portrayed that character in, but seriously, this misinformation about 'that matter' should really stop, I've been following it since 1985 and I've never seen a more inaccurate statement about the franchise publicly pertaining to a prominent character role.
@Captain Brandon Horror Lover yeah totally...I mean I love Kane Hodder as Jason but hell like he says here,he's barely in Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X is pretty bad...there's no sense in comparing who was the best
Kane ALMOST did for Jason what Kevin Peter Hall did for the predator It’s a total fucking shame that the franchise took such a horrid nose dive after the best one. New Blood! AKA: Carrie vs Jason Nobody but John Buechler should have been touching those films after 7.... It could have all been so much better and 9&10 “that I don’t,and won’t even own” would not have been just a big joke. And had 7 not been edited and chopped all to fuckin crap than it would have been big enough that there would not even be anything at all to debate about.
Steve dash is like the grandpa and Kane and C.J. are like the fun uncles at a family get together. I love it.
so sad that Richard Brooker is not with us, he was extremely funny and so are the other actors who did Jason. imagine a comedy show with all the Jason actors, their chemistry is like brothers they all are witty and bounce jokes off each other.
and here i thought nobody was going too say anything
Metaluna Zombie I agree. Richard Brooker’s Jason has always been one of my favorites. Hate that he passed away.
The world lost a good percentage of its personality, humor, charm, charisma, and good nature when Steve Dash passed away. R.I.P. OBM
R.l.P Mr.Steve Dash.
C.J Graham is such an imposing dude.. Huge frame, large head and hands... Just a beast.
He was a u.s. marine
Indeed. He was blessed with great genetics, but I'm sure his dedication to the gym didn't hurt either.
That Steve Dash is a funny guy!
Christopher Rankin You mean funny like he’s a clown? He amuses you? He makes you laugh? He’s here to fucking amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how?

😂 Always loved that scene!

Mine too personally i love prt2
Agree.. part 2 is my favorite also..
Part 2 is my favorite movie of series. Part 3 and 4 are my favorite Jason's. Part 7-12 are trash.

He's just ball bustin, can get a little annoying but you can tell he doesn't mean anything bad by it. He got a little more serious towards the end.

@@zufgh It feels as though either term could be used here, but I'd not be surprised to find 'popular' used before 'iconic' to describe them again

I love steve dash!! Lol
Man rest his soul.. wish i met him..
" tm the real f**king Jason"
- Steve Dash
Is the host Chumley from Pawn Stars?
They all did a great job playing Jason. Each brought a different version which was scary in their own right. Friday the 13th in my opinion is the best slasher movies ever!!! 👍🇨🇦
KrashBandit666 I agree!!!! I love Jason!!!!!
1:32 Look how high Kane's knees are xD He sure can't go anywhere without those mega size custom boots.
Steve is hilarious
Rest easy steve
I do know the late Steve Dash is definitely a funny guy and always sarcastic :D
R.i.P Steve Dash
RIP richard.
22:20 is the funniest part
I saw Steve Dash at a convention about a month ago...he didn't seem to be real happy to be there lol
Probably because he was sick. He's been dead a month now
I saw him a month ago too. He also didn't seem happy to be there, so I ask him why he even come to my house. He just shook his head and walked into my room and hid somewhere.

Prison is a great little movie. Little known actor, Viggo Mortensen appears in the film.
It’s a shame Steve is gone now but he’s a fucking riot lol
Kane is the best Jason period.
No he's not. Watch Part 4.
Teds better.
Kane is the worst.
Its all subjective right. Guess i got nothing but respect for anyone that's ever laced up a pair of Jason Boots

I think they are referring to the wit of Steve Dash
C.J. - the referee 🤣.
Love every single one these guys

Who's the goof who thumbed this down????
Freddy
thedevilisaloser666 😂
Didnt cj Graham double for leatherface in the 3rd movie or was that a rumor?
that was Kane Hodder
wow they need to stop comparing machete sizes
It’s funny... I love how they try to knock each other down some pegs. You wouldn’t do the same if you played Jason Voorhees or Michael Myers
they should make one where jason talks and have steve dash be his voice!!
Haha Thats hilarious. If Jason had that voice, a bunch of wiseguys could huddle around him, and they could be the new MurderInc.
Steve Dash is on his last legs for being "the feet" of Jason in Part 2, oh and "the bag man"...the beginning of it all!!!!!!!! Sorry you were only credited as a stunt man!
YEah and he wasn't the feet, that was a woman when Jasons feet is first seen.
obviously Ted white wouldn't show up to one of these
@Captain Brandon Horror Lover just turned 93 on January 25th.
Whatever happened to ken kirzinger
Klassic Gaming he shouldn't have been Jason it was supposed to be Kane but the new director screwed him out of it
he hardly does horror cons

+Brandon Runyon THANK YOU!
Kane seems scary and nice at the same time. =)
This was rough and tough and especially awkward to watch. Terrible idea for a panel.
I felt bad for Dash just because he wasn't getting many questions
