I really think Siti Nurhaliza has done justice to both the songs. If Siti were to release a Mandarin album of new materials by top composers of today and there was some serious promotion by the record company, who knows what would happen? New found fame in Taiwan, or maybe China, too?

Surely a lot of ppl will compare Shila and CT's version of Zheng Fu. In my opinion Shila's pronunciation is almost flawless, sounds really like a Chinese singing. CT's words were clearer but can tell that is Mandarin a foreign language to her. Both ladies are awesome in their own ways and I enjoyed both renditions. They are perfect :)
Siti and Leehom complements each other really well! Their voices. Siti is amazing even when singing in Mandarin. The pronunciation is a bit off, but she can't be blamed much on it yeah? Leehom looks really laidback hahaha and he sounds damn sexy. Deep & low voice

i searched the web about this clip..it was in 2004..at Taiwan's 15th Golden Melody Awards where the theme was Asia #1..means #1 Asian singers besides the Chinese singers..There were also Tata Young & BOA performances that night besides Siti.. Tata Young,Siti & BOA were the only Asian,non-Chinese singers that were invited to do special performance there..So proud of her!

i really think she did a gud job. she carried the tones perfectly n her voice more than makes up for any mispronunciation. i mean really. she doesnt speak chinese n yet she's singing a chinese song. wonder if she even knows what those words mean. just wish she'd consider taking up the language n mastering it. then we can hear siti nurhaliza sing chinese songs n never be able to tell it was sung by a non-chinese.
