Andy brown provided entertainment for free at moffat primary school while Ammara was still there. Unforgettable experiences. he was a good person and thats when i learned to appreciate his music.may his soul continue to rest in peace
I have just rewatched this and a lot of things are now beginning to make sense, Although this is a short documentary, the content is so rich that you you expand it in your head. I have become aware of grooves and how african music is connected. This teaches us to be observant and pay attention to the small details. It's a pity the cancel culture overtook Andy, but I am grateful we had him in the first place. My most memorable show was in 1998 when he opened for Buju Banton at the NSS . Among the many hits he played then , was a song with lyrics 'nyangwe ukatsamwa uchangofara rimwe zuva, kana uri mwana wamambo uri Muranda kumwe'. That song sits permanently in my memory

Wooow woow. this is beautiful. You reminded me of international rhumba by Louis Mhlanga from 0821 to the end of this video. I would love to hear you comment about Mhlanga's international rhumba.
Andy brown was my favourite musician of all time. Thanks for sharing this Clive.
