This man is spot on! I agree with the whole video. NO, Cyprus aint that cheap anymore and will get progressively more expensive. I recommend to buy some property/land/house/flat... as prices are already getting out of control. I managed to grab some land outside of larnaca about 15-20 years ago and fast forward to today the prices tripled if not quadrupled.
Thanks! Our family is moving to Cyprus (also Nicosia) in a week or so and your video was pretty insightful and correlates with things I googled myself :) Also I really love that Cyprus now got that nice healthcare system for residents and their families.
Hi. It's cheaper to live in Paphos. I pay 375 euros a month for a lovely one-bedroom apartment on a complex with a communal pool. It includes all bills except electric. With electric, it averages about 400 euros/month. I spend 40-50 euros a week on food shopping. Of course, there are properties that cost more in Paphos, but I know of folks who spend less than me on rent, and they're nice apartments.
@@bradyXTv Other places in Cyprus are arguably and indeed livelier, but I think there's as much or as little going on in Paphos as one wants there to be. I prefer the quiet life and I have it, but my neighbour goes out most days. It's what you make it.
Cyprus is f-ing expensive!! Been living here for almost 10 years and the last 4-5 years were just crazy!! All the prices blew up and the salaries are mostly the same as 10 years ago 🤯
No it's not 😂😂 compared to the uk or europe like framce germany haha its very cheap if you want to live above your means but to live is simple really and easy
My friend in Freneros has her own house with no loans. Says she spends 550 euros a month. Runs a car and eats out at least once a week. Says its cheap in Cyprus. If you own your own place and use solar panels for most of your energy consumption you are laughing.
My salary In a hotel was 830 euro a month while rent for liiiitle studio in Paphos costs 400 without bills without internet. Now after immigrant crisis hit the fan, you can't find even for four hundred . how am I supposed to survive?
Ireland is sadly running all their young people out. No way of gaining independence from parents and buy or rent property. Adding to poor mental health issues and crime. No sign of change in near future sadly
Hey Michael, I’m a flight attendant and I’ll be moving to Cyprus soon. I need your help… what’s the best way to rent an apartment there? Is like a website or an agency you would recommend? Thanks

Good video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
Thanks for the feedback. glad to hear! And of course, your insights on travels are much appreciated and inspire others as well Im sure. And I agree, language is essential part of culture so it's always good to know a bit Take care, Michael
Sorry the late reply, 20€ is just common expenses of the property. Water and electricity come on top and are due every two months, and vary depending on ur consumption. Might do a video just on that Best, Michael
Thanks for the useful info, I've been offered job there for 70keuro and wanted to know if my family could live comfortably with cost of living. Very helpful 👍

Hi Ryan! Sorry the late reply, Yes 70k is enough to live here, and in most cases even comfortably, depending on what that means for you :) many people here earn less and still live decent I'd say

I personally say it‘s either a bare minimum or too less. Coz limassol is just more expensive so you may live a very basic life. 2.5k including rent isn’t enough imo

Yea I agree, plus its nice in Paphos. However, my issue was that there isn’t much going on over there, it‘s quite far out and calm.

Larnaca is cheap yea, and Paphos you might need a car

If you want a house 1-2 bedroom in Limassol you need 1200 only for the rent!
It depends the closer to the water it's more expensive. I know I'm a Cypriot.
Compared to Ireland it's extremely cheap still... 😌
That's for sure:D

Obvious but it would help if you said where on the Island you are. I'm assuming the Republic but I can't be sure.
Much cheaper or affordable than living in Tampa Florida
which three cities where u considering to live?
Limassol, larnaca, nicosia :p

If you mean annual €70.000 it's very good money to live in Cyprus. Its more than enough. A average hybrid new Japanese car is between €16k and 25k.
