To the engineering department at Kenworth I wish they could just have 1 wiper switch on the dash with a wash button you just push instead of that big ugly lever switch on the steer column !!! What a dumb place for that !!! And a real pain to use I've owned lots of KWs back yrs ago this design is bad and unsafe!
My last 2 W 9s are great trucks other than lots of dust being sucked into the HVAC system that cheap filter you buy and install on the outside air intake doesn't work well still get lots of dust in the cab!!!
The older model KW's had the wiper switch on the dash. Unfortunately (for you), they opted for the steering column because of driver preferences. I guess it depends who you ask.

@CoopersburgLibertyKenworth Yes I owned a few with the easy reach dash they had the best location for the wiper wash switch
