Gaz, I'm getting the impression, from the BBR comments early on in the vid, they're implying "the fit was not the best" ? Do you think they might be having a small pop at BLiNK with a comment like that ? We both know that BLiNK "knew their onions", so to speak, so standing back, do you reckon that's a fair comment from BBR ? I guess you've probably dumped a fair chunk of change their way for the recent works so what exactly have they changed to sort the problem out - Fuel pump, Tank - whatever.... in sorting the starvation issue you said you was having ? What have they done to achieve it ? Thanks
The comment is from me after being shown the problems from the original install not BBRs comments. If blink had still been open I would have took it back as the fuel starvation was getting worse a long time ago. As you see from that top hose that had been fitted touching the body and started rubbing through is an example of it not being the best fit. Fuel pump was just dangling in the tank and not secured, clips and hoses on the fuel lines not secure and all these things to help it not not giving full boost. The only thing that has been changed is the fuel pump, everything else just re fitted and secured. I was surprised about the initial install not being top notch as well, even 5 years ago when I picked it up in hind sight indication’s were there, fog lights not re connected, can’t re call exactly now but there was some plug in the engine bay that not been re connected as well. Anyway it’s definitely running better than ever now, you can hear the charger a lot more and it pulls a lot harder.
