Follow this video to disassemble Xiaomi Mi 8. You can replace cameras, battery, earpiece, speaker and other inbuilt devices. The inner structure of Xiaomi Mi 8 is quite simple and easy to repair. The vibration controller can easily get broken, be careful when you disassemble this phone.

Tools:
1. Heat gun / Hairdryer
2. T2 Torx screwdriver
3. Ph000 Phillips screwdriver
4. Plastic spudger
5. Tweezers
Steps:
Step1 Open the back cover
Step2 Remove the motherboard
Step3 Remove cameras
Step4 Remove earpiece
Step5 Remove loudspeaker and charging port
Step6 Remove battery

is there any way to unbrick a chinese Mi8 dipper with locked BL?
Recently there are a lot of mi 8 bricks because Xiaomi sold abroad
many device (before global model), and after that they bricked them
via OTA update. All the users needs authorised Xiaomi account to flash
via EDL , but Xiaomi did not authorised any of them. Maby there are
other ways. If you find out something please do a tutorial.

Onde fica a placa WI-FI? Meu Mi8 caiu na piscina e após isso funciona , porém sem WIFI, GPS e Bluetooth.

Sim card should be removed just before lifting Motherboard.
I skipped opening rear cover and then sim card blocked lifting of the motherboard.
It's related to removing motherboard and should be done in that moment. Its not related in any way to opening the phone.
We are recommending it when it is safe to do so.
