When I was pregnant, my dog and I were attacked, and she was hurt badly trying to save us. She had to have a specialist flown in to save her life, and I ( and my unborn baby) slept next to her kennel at the vet's. I ended up in the hospital, but they told me that I saved my sweet dog's life by staying with her- just as she saved my unborn daughter and my life. My Isolde was my heroine.

The new veterinary ER by me (VEG!) in Chandler, AZ has a special room with a bed so we could spend night with our dog if we wanted 😭❤️ they’re fantastic. Got to stay right there as they saved his life (anaphylactic shock-scorpion 🦂)

Moms: they truly are the best 🥰❤️
It’s so sweet how the dog listened so intensely to his person. As if he understood everything she said. Personally I think the dog was reacting to how calm and reassuring her voice was, plus she stroked his head in a soothing way. What a loving and good fur mommy.

What kind of surgery. I know that your dog will heal. Just remember to follow your Doctor's instructions about the amount of exercise to the letter. Elbows can be tricky. Good news in 6-8 weeks you will have a new dog From a vet technician who worked for one of the best orthopedic surgeon in Alaska. I worked as a tech for 43 years so I know just a little bit.😊
