I actually read the documentation for Calc and it doesn't have most of this info. The video goes a _little_ too fast, I'm going to have to watch it a few times to catch everything.
I need even more basic. How did he type Mon and get the days of the week to populate across columns. "Basic" and "Beginner" mean different things to different people. 10 minutes later edit: Did a search, discovered autofill and left click. It irks me when folks want everything spoon fed. Do a search. learn on your own. I have found that knowledge sticks better when I struggle and THEN take a class.

Thanks, but couldn't get past 2.30 cause my Alt key and the = (equals sign) key DON'T DO THE TRICK for the totals. How do I go around that?

I have had a similar problem. There has been an update and if you use the pound or dollar sign it will not do the maths.

When I try to bring monday across, it simply keeps on copying MONDAY 4 TIMES, in 4 cells. it doesn't fill in with the other ays of the week

I hope calc will have Table features like in Excel. Thats the only feature from Excel that I want to available in calc.
