Just listened to the UHQR thought it was great, i have the original in near mint also, plus the 45 RPM that came out about 2012 or so. Though the 45 is loud and brighter than the UHQR i prefer not getting up every few minutes and changing it over. I think the 45 is closer to the OG, but the UHQR is a great listen, glad i got it.
Depends on the ear and discretion of the person listening. Perfect pitch? Do you have any experience, knowledge, or credentials? Or is this just clickbait.
@@VinylLatte i also have this pressing, a clean copy purchased at ebay for 80 $ . I used to own some german 80's pressings but i was never happy with. My DCC CD was then my go to version, really beautiful sounding; i still have it. My OG vinyl Pitmann has A-1 / B-1 Stampers, i don't need any upgrade : the size, the energy, the presence, the clarity, the weight . All tube from start to finish, the energy captured on this vintage copy has to be heard to be believed. Not to mention the fact that the live-in-the-studio musicians are swimming in natural ambience, with instruments leaking from one mic to another, and most of them bouncing back and forth off the studio walls to boot. UHQR ?? No thank you !!!
I concur. The UHQR is the 4k version of this album. The og and 45 rpm are more brash and rowdy. Definitely need both. The og and 45 are cut much louder. At times the og and 45 fatigues me with high freq. good review

How do you like the UHQR mastering compared to the 45 and OG?

Really nice ❤ thanks 😊🥀
You're welcome 😊
Very good video. Nice job!!!
Thank you very much!
Well done! I think you hit a good balance on the differences.
Thanks buddy! I enjoyed your shootout as well 🙌
LA woman emotionally ❤❤❤ for many-many years ❤❤❤🍷🥀
I enjoy the hi res ALAC Apple Digital Masters version. The Atmos mix is really good as well. It has studio chatter.
Thanks for sharing!
Guys if you really want to go farther then that,… Try a Japanese or German pressing of LA women or if you dare a 7.25 IPS reel to reel of LA Woman.
I'll bet the reel sounds best if in good condition
Thanks for sharing! I’ll try to pick up the Japanese or German press 👍
I bet!
Which pressing plant is your og from? I've had a few of them and the CP is the best in my opinion. I also have a CTH promo which sounds great.
Hi there! This is the pressing I have: www.discogs.com/release/4622918-Doors-LA-Woman

Dont forget tonal colour in OG will ALWAYS beat a renasterd pressing. Same for CDs. Remasters suck out the tonal colors of instuments
Valid point!
