NTC KICKSTARTER

You are invited to participate in the creation of this documentary that will celebrate and explore the real story of NTC: the student participants whose dedication and perseverance define the epic spirit of The National Trumpet Competition. The narrative includes the entire trumpet community as well as the giants of the trumpet world who perform at NTC exhibition concerts. Enjoy concert highlights of Doc Severinsen, Maynard Ferguson, Chris Botti, Mnozil Brass, Canadian Brass and many others.
Your gift will help us illuminate the incredible personal stories of these young trumpeters as they strive for excellence and follow their dreams. This initiative will document the amazing musical experience and educational outreach that has set the world-wide standard for trumpet performance and provided a model for other competitions around the world.

We are trying to raise a total of $20,000 to support the making of the Documentary, but are setting the KICKSTARTER bar at $5,000 for seed money. Mike Cano, NTC's dedicated videographer and archivist will be reviewing and editing hundreds of hours of video and audio footage from contestants and guest artists. We need to raise money to pay for a portion of his services.
Dr. Dennis Edelbrock, Founder and Executive Director of NTC, will continue to provide his services probono as he has done for the past 25 years.
