The Ark members didn't want to break up but were basically forced to by the company. And none of this shit that their comback wasn't succesfull enough or that the topic was controversal in Korea were true, it was because the company wanted a different concept and broke up the group.

To new fans, Jeon Minju and Euna Kim started in 2014 where they released “Goodbye Rain” MV ft. Hunkyu of VROMANCE. (Check it out, the sing is a bop.) They did not promote this song in Music Shows. Along with Jane Chun, Jeong Yujin, and Lee Suji (Halla), they formed THE ARK group, debuted in 2015 with “The Light”. They were hyped because of their good debut song, vocal talents, and boy group dance covers during their numerous busking performances. Due to unclear reasons, Music K disbanded the group, and they were not able to comeback as 5 after their debut. This broke the heart of all 5 members, because it was so sudden. The members went through different paths after disbandment: Yujin went back to singing at her vocal academy, Suji and Jane joined Real Girls Project, Euna appeared in Season 3 of Unpretty Rapstar, and Minju surprisingly joined the last season (6) of Kpop Star, even tho she was already a top contender in season 3. Suji joined THE UNIT and is now a part of UNI.T. Still, their bond is so strong that even tho they parted ways they still continue to support each other with each others’ activities, and they hang out together when they can.
