あの頃みんな、毎週欠かさずドラゴンボール見ていた。男の子はもちろん、女の子でもジャンプ買ってた子がいた。
男子たちがドラゴンボールでふざけ合ってるのも、それを女子が呆れて見てるのも、当時のリアルがこのCMに全て詰まってて、泣けました。

Got me into tears watching this. Remembered on the year 2002, i didnt want to get ready for Eid celebration, cried so bad because i cant watch the most recent episode of Dragonball that day. Those days when we collect all 43 volume of manga, just to see the image at the side of the comics assembled together.

When this ad came out 4 years ago, it hits different because of the nostalgia effect to us 90s kids. Today, it hits different again. RIP Akira Toriyama. Thank you for bringing Goku to us. 鳥山先生…親に漫画ばっかり読むな！ゲームばっかりするなと言われていました。それでもドラゴンボールとクロノトリガーに心を奪われて夢中になっていました。ペンで人の心を元気にする漫画の力ってほんとにすごいですね。ほんとうに生きる力になるんですね。週刊文春とかは読みませんが、同じペンでも人の心に残るのものの力にこれほどの差があるのかと感じさせられました。大人になった今人の心を動かすことの大切さ、偉大さを鳥山先生から学んで子供達にも伝えています。

My friends sometimes laugh at me because when I was a kid never saw Disney movies and stuff, because they bothered me acostumed to Dragon Ball. But it was a joy of childhood, playing dragon ball live action with friends on the streets and Super battle 22 and final bout (awful games nowadays but they were the only ones we had and were a blast for us) in home, going to the paper store for photocopy the best pages of my elders brother's DBZ mangas in Japanese for painting, buying collection cards, playing with figures, listening Kageyama's songs in cassette tapes while playing... A joy of childhood.
