I'm so glad I found you! This video is SO helpful!! The tablecloth I have is polyester (I think) and I love how white and crisp it is and that it doesn't hold stains. What would the benefit be to have a cotton or linen tablecloth? Also, I love doing the bishops miter fold on my cotton, cloth napkins, however, in lots of castles/manors I've noticed that they seem to have really large napkins that look really luxurious! Could you please recommend where to purchase such large cloth napkins or the size/fold they use? I would love a video on different napkin folds! Thank you for this great video!!

Thank you so much for your message. The advantage of linen table cloths is just the finish that they have it is difficult to explain without having the two fabrics next to each other but you do feel and see the difference. I have done a couple for napkin fold videos I will do some more soon.
The large napkins are incredibly hard to get hold of now and very expensive. One of my clients gets them from Egypt then has them embroidered in Ireland.
If you can buy vintage ones the quality is beyond anything being made today. But I actually really like the idea of doing a video all about napkins so maybe I can give you more detail. Thank you

Does ironing a damp cloth right out if the washing machine hurt the cotton or linen? I confess that is what I do. Also I put a laundry basket at my feet and on the other side to catch the overflow.

No it is absolutely fine to iron the cloth damp. Napkins can get a bit distorted if pressed too much in one direction but basically it works well. Just be careful if you are ironing on anything but an ironing board because the dampness might damage the surface. Thank you

Love this video! I wanted to buy the heavy duty protector but it is no longer available. Can you recommend another source? Thank you so much. For shipping to the USA.

Thank you I really appreciate it. This is a link to another company selling the same protector I found on Amazon. As Amazon are an American company I assumed they shipped everything to the States but to be honest I don't really know.

@RossetBespokeButlers Thank you so much for your response. It says it's not available now but maybe they will restock it one day. p.s. I have to thank you for giving me this tip on this heavy duty pad. I was about to buy another think pad with the ring design as they sell it here also at Williams and Sonoma but it does leave rings and for the money, your heavy duty one is better value.
