How in the world can you make shinobi deflect with kick-range heavy follow up guaranteed. I swear every time i do this it gets blocked
Dont do it in the same direction everytime. Lets say you only do top ranged after the deflect they can block to the top before you hit them with the kick and it will prevent it from hitting. Just thew them in random directions and hope they don't predict it.
It’s guaranteed if you switch guard from the side that you deflected ie: you deflect a top attack then you can throw to the sides. Assassins I believe this works regardless

As a shiniboe main I suggest to zone attack faint the last attack as you do the do two or one light attack to the left am rep 126 in total
You realize hes rep like 400 overall right?
If i have to deal with shinobis i will use my hyperarmor or if i play Black prior i pancakeflip them
Nova you should try using the double dash ranged gb more often. It’s great for catching opponents who try to dodge the kick instead of feinting into gb off heavy. Would’ve helped you a lot against that loser HL at 7:00

The zone option select will register as a parry attempt and still get you caught in the trap.

Not a fan of shinobi gameplay since they refuse to rework him and I find him boring to watch, fight, and play as but have a like my boy.
