I 'm from England and now live in Canada. Our local track is a 2+klm sand track and 97% of people ride 450f's. you need the torque and low down power. I personally ride a 250f but that suits my abilities and experience. Obviously a good rider can do great things on a lesser bike but not against another great rider in the sand .Lovely bike but a 450 would do well there based on my experience. Great video mate, hope ya bike is feeling better.
you are right dude i know but the change that a 4-stroke will blow is so small cause the engine can handle more and it`s fine to ride full throttle for so long 2 strokes dont have to be rev for so long cause it`s bad for the engine that`s the reason to ride with a 4-stroke in a race like this
@@RodDuster Definitely, when the bike was on full throttle those 300's have more vacuum than a 125 or 250 of the day. And fuel injectors have much MUCH smaller ports than a carburetor. Usually there is enough pressure behind them to keep the crap going through but if you get a larger particle (such as sand) and that larger vacuum force, forces it past the air filters then it will cause the injectors to sense an issue and shut down prematurely.
Scott, your hostility and ignorance are signs of the times. David Willet came in 557th, not 3rd. Check the results here: www.theresultslive.co.uk/sites/default/files/Race%2005%20-%20Solos%20Result%20By%20Class.pdf
hearing a limiter on a 2t is very confusing when you're not used to it
That bike wasn't happy!

I'm a 2-stroke guy myself but looks like you may need a big four stroke next time sounded like the bike was struggling a bit
If you want to blow up your 2 stroke enter this race
Rebuild is jus top-end most likely.. 4 stroke cost THOUSANDS!!!

Did you get it fixed? Bummer to see this, I really want the husky and Ktm injected bikes to do well
They have done well, it´s just they aren´t made for this kind of terrain, a 2 stroke on a beach race like this is like bringing boots to a marathon.
Finally someone that knows how to ride a bike! Now you just need to get the bike sorted.
What happened? Is it a mechanical problem or electronics?
Probably injector metering due to blocked air filter??

@@HashAssett Was it dirt (fine sand) that works it way through the air-filter correct that caused the issues?
@@mecalpsha4473 Yes.
Man that looks like a lot of fun
1:00 such a close call there !
Third overall and people are crying in the comments. Sign of the times I guess.

justindlewis86 in the description it said that he came 3rd. So he was telling the truth. The video makers were not telling the truth
FI and sand not happy?
was thinkin about entering this race. But think it gonna fuck up my bike. it looks so much fun though
Yikes, that bike was not happy at all. That just convinced me that I don't want one of those.....
Wrong gearing i think and a bit lean up top poss hope ya get it sorted 👍
Sounds rough
Top Class!
These bikes are made for slow and technical not this.
