In VeraCruz, Mexico, every week in the town square the Mexican flag is hoisted during an impressive ceremony which shows the people's pride in their flag and country. As a port captain the maker of this movie attended for years the ships of his company while discharging in the port of VeraCruz. However he never had the opportunity to watch the entire ceremony because of his duties on board ship. During a recent casual visit he had that opportunity and made this special video.
VeraCruz is one of his most favorite places.
